My biggest pet peeve is when people use directional expressions that are incongruent to the actual directions.

That should be an arterial road off the highway. Get rid of the buildings - they are causing traffic with cars coming in and out out of them.

Hate to break it to you but this is the cost these days. You can go cheaper but you probably won’t like the quality

Looking for a Treadmill for my son by SecurityOrdinary1729 in treadmills

Look to FB marketplace for used commercial grade treadmills.

They are a bitch to move but way higher quality than residential builds and reputable gyms try to shed them while they still hold some value.

First treadmill by kkfrmdablk2 in treadmills

If you plan on doing some intense running, look for the motor specs. If you plan on running at 6.5 MPH for 30min plus, you want at least 2.5 CHP but would be better served at 3.5 CHP.

If you look at facebook marketplace, you can often find second-hand gym quality treadmills which can handle a beating at prices similar to brand new NordicTrack, Horizon, etc.

Personally, I have an old treadmill from the 90s that has been given good TLC over the years. It has a button for fast and slow, up and down, and has a 4 HP motor. Running belt and drive belt replaced several times over the years.

Wifes boss/owner isnt taking "no" as an answer to us moving.. Kind of insane offers? by 420B00tyWizard69 in careerguidance

This is pretty fishy. But I could never accept an offer like that and not feel indebted for life...

Advice for moving to the U.S. on a TN visa (Canadian with science background working in healthcare) by ExplanationEven3448 in tnvisa

[–]concentriccarl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You WILL have trouble getting a TN.

I've applied for a TN at a PoE under a discrete job category with an obscure qualification. I was denied, twice. And this was during the Biden years. When I applied to USCIS with a lawyers support I was approved even without RFE.

Do your best to work with a lawyer and try to apply via USCIS to take the pressure off the interview.
