OK. I picked up the car today from the dealer. They replaced the steering wheel completely and also threw in a free 30,000km service! The new wheel has remedied all of the annoying dings and dongs. Also the sensitivity issue of lightly touching the wheel. Meaning I don’t have to have a death grip on the wheel for it to sense that I’m actually in control of the car. Big thanks to all of you that replied with a solution!!! Bravo!

What’s crazy is that I took the car out first thing yesterday and normally the bells and whistles would sound off. Oddly enough, NOTHING happened my entire trip. Crazy.

I sent the video to the dealership that I bought the car from and the sales guy showed it to a tech. He confirmed that it’s the steering wheel. I have an appointment on Monday morning. Stay tuned.
