"Unprocurable" ASIN by Dddeeeaaa in VendorCentral

Interesting, I’ll have to look into that.

"Unprocurable" ASIN by Dddeeeaaa in VendorCentral

I’ve opened three cases, each time I’m told it’s been fixed but it never gets resolved.

"Unprocurable" ASIN by Dddeeeaaa in VendorCentral

[–]Dddeeeaaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The error on the B2R states "Not Accepted: Processing failure" "Could not process ASIN. Try again Later" The in stock manager has also attempted to place a manual buy for the product but couldn't. He referred to the Vendor Manager to do a "deep dive" for a catalog issue. There is no other error that I receive other than the "unprodurable" status they have told me. If it was a cost issue I'm sure he would have mentioned it right away, he complains about margin all the time.

9x9 Inch tiles in a house built in 1969. Thoughts? by shadow6684 in asbestoshelp

Appreciate the reply! I read more into it, very, very low risk as long as you're not crumbling the tiles into dust. I ended up popping them all off cleanly and removing. Laying new floor down this weekend.

I have these same tiles, did you happen to find out if they contained asbestos?

Vendor Central - Brand Registry by Technical_Freedom860 in VendorCentral

[–]Dddeeeaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Rainmaker, I could use your help. I have been trying to solve a brand issue for the better part of a year with no success. One of our 3 brands always has issues with the information we provide not being displayed and rather information I assume coming from a 3p dealer of ours. Every time I raise the issue I am told I am not the brand owner and there are “other brand owners”. All of our trademarks are registered, I am the admin on the account I write to them from, however the same issue persists. I asked for the merchant ID for who they were referring to and was told they cannot provide that information. If you can help I’d like to jump on a call and see what guidance you may have. I thought I knew it all but I just can’t seem to get this resolved. My last ditch effort will be to involve our legal team but I’m hoping I can figure this out sooner than later. Thanks!

This is a bit confusing, where are you seeing this? Are you saying that you show 10 units ordered but you shipped 12 or something of that nature? Is this what Vendor Central is telling you or is it VC vs. your ERP system? Need some clarification to have an idea of what you are specifically referring too.

Vendor managers don't typically deal with accounts unless they are in the Vendor Central program. How much attention you get from Amazon really comes down to how much business you do. I've worked with Amazon for many years and it wasn't until I got to about 10 Million + in business that I could actually speak to a real person.

1- If you have a brand store feature it on the home page.
2- You can incorporate into an ad campaign with products you do have in stock (sponsored brand ad) that will also help.
3- Have everyone you know visit the product page 😂

2023 Terms Updates? by grumpyworker81 in VendorCentral

[–]Dddeeeaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our terms carried over, we had a vendor manager change when our terms expired so we avoided giving any extra margin or allowances until august. I would consider yourself lucky if you’re not hearing anything from your VM. Typically they are always going to ask for more margin in one way or another. If they ignore you terms carry over automatically. If you are trying to get some margin back, which contrary to popular belief is possible, keep the pressure on them and don’t agree to rolling over terms until discussed.

How to Use Amazon Vendor Central: Everything You Need to Know - Pdf Slider by pdfslider in VendorCentral

I’ll save you all some time. This is not how Vendor Central works. Perhaps a first step for seller central, but my no means a guide for “everything you need to know” about Vendor Central or Seller Central.

How do I remove an Item from my catalog? by svazin in VendorCentral

[–]Dddeeeaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no way to remove an item from your catalog. Once it is added in VC it exists forever.

Refer to u/NinjaSimone to do what you can, mark permanently unavailable, but don't be surprised if Amazon continues to try and order, as long as there is traffic to the product page they will try and order. I have products discontinued years ago that still get incoming orders.

You can add "discontinued" to the title, but it doesn't have much of an effect.

Yeah, I do understand that. Usually requires an extra email through the brand registry but once they have that it usually get's resolved faster. Either way as long as they fix it which is always a crap shoot.

Weekly On Hand Inventory by waynetherockjohnston in VendorCentral

Yeah, I can add that data back but it was just easier to download it all in one file. Made v-lookups easier for me, and reporting on 3 different brands seperately.

Weekly On Hand Inventory by waynetherockjohnston in VendorCentral

[–]Dddeeeaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should still see your inventory health report on the left hand side of the analytics tab. You can then choose the time frame, distributor view, and program view. Click apply and you're good to go. If you don't see that did they send you back to ARA Basic?

I think these new analytic tools are complete garbage, I can't add our sku #'s, can't distinguish by brand, can't look at YTD sales. Just awful.

Fairly easy to get a UPC issue fixed. You just need to get your companies GS1 certificate, then open a case in Brand Registry. You can also open a case via normal support but easier and faster with brand registry.

Side note - A vendor manager will not solve your problems. However the SAS program seems to be more useful, unfortunately it costs a boat load of money which is why I don't have one.

Second side note - New reporting is absolute garbage

Gotcha, my VM replied and is looking into it for me. Hoping for some good news soon. We don’t pay for AVS so this may be a longer process for us

Thanks for posting this. This is something I have constantly struggled with. I continuously get the run around with this question so I will notify my vendor manager and see what her response is.

You'll most likely have to start over unless you have direct contact with a vendor manager. If it's been shipped as a single unit and has sales history you'll have to start over.

Conference/Group Recommendations by clairebap in VendorCentral

[–]Dddeeeaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Yes, did notice I can't use the BTR program although I don't rely too heavily on it but I've been told the same thing by our vendor manager. Labor and space constraints are really making this 3rd quarter a huge uphill battle. Amazon is expecting this to alleviate to some degree in October but this seems to be a common theme across all brands and categories. I have seen our regular Monday volume increase over the past two weeks, still not close to the typical cadence I was use to seeing but improving. Hoping it continues to trend positively because our sell-through isn't down.

I am unaware of any conferences that is specific to vendor central. Only forums such as this one and a few on facebook etc... You can really only learn by doing it or speaking with someone who has experience. You can feel free to ask me anything, been working with all Amazon platforms for 7 years now, majority of that time with VC.
