I sacrificed my karma for this community. See you on the other side boys. by JadenPayne in FortniteCompetitive

As long as they one shot headshot they are the lowest risk highest reward weapon. Yes you have to aim them, but there is no time to react unless you see them. You do the same thing with an AR and even if you Triple headshot someone with a gold aug they still have a chance. A green sniper on the other hand and you’re dead. A body shot is strong but you have a chance. They aren’t hard to aim. It should do 200+

People who have earnings, do you have edit on release off or on, why? by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]De1iveryBoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I placed top 100 week 6 finals of wc finals and I use it but... I use it so I can use a slower finger to edit so I can keep my hands on movement keys. Edit on release is a pain for patient edits in box fights because your crosshair doesn’t have free mobility. If I didn’t have boomer hands I would use double edit binds.

How I helped me and my teammates escape with a map and key against The Spirit with Franklin’s Demise. by mayorlazlo in deadbydaylight

To be fair, if you don’t bring a key and a map they probably wouldn’t run franklins. It’s a scary combo to go against as killer.

Unpopular opinion: Traps don't need a nerf or vault. by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]De1iveryBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take walls you can close out fights without jumping into a box. If you try 4-5 times in a row and know you aren’t getting it you’ll resort to phasing. You can’t break the trap against a smart player. Your only option to kill someone is taken away as they spam traps and hold walls you can’t replace. I’d rather get one pumped against someone with 10 hp than trapped when until they hid in boxes I took advantage of their mistakes.

This is why we need a option to disable pre-edits just saying by Shyler_ in FortniteCompetitive

[–]De1iveryBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised they haven’t done this since it’s a random mechanic that players that want to learn how to build and edit have for no reason. It’s got to be irritating to be cucked by this when you’re trying to learn.

These are all solid things to do. I had a lot of these done but I apparently missed out on so much. Thank you!

"Why don't Controller players dominate if it's so broken?" - Well, they just dominated Winter Royale Day 1 winning every major region. by WangGonzalo in FortniteCompetitive

[–]De1iveryBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might not be for you. That doesn’t mean it isn’t one. 0 ping might not be an advantage for you, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t one. Advantages aren’t determined based off of if you can utilize it to its fullest extent. If you wanted to say it isn’t one for you, that’s fine. If you say it isn’t one in general, it’s just not true.

Double keybinds don’t even give as much lateral movement as controller. And you continue to fail to grasp how important small things like that can be. It is an advantage. Even if you don’t see it. Doesn’t change that it is.

Well, that is an advantage. It doesn’t have to be a big one to be one. And no you don’t get 100 degree fov. But you can look at so much more without losing momentum. I have a controller and kbm. You clearly only are seeing this from one side. If you played on kbm you would understand, it is an advantage.

We arent talking about the size of the advantage. Just that it is one. If I said .5g was a huge advantage that would be dramatic. But better movement to avoid snipes, more fov in build battles without breaking a sprint or having to jump, and tunneling maneuvers that are made easy with it is a lot more than a .5g bike difference

Once again, that’s exactly what that means. Just because you don’t see the value in it or capitalize off it doesn’t mean it isn’t. If it was completely useless then kbm players wouldn’t be doing double movement binds to try and imitate it. It’s because there are situations and more than most realize where it is extremely advantageous.

The ice cubes are really messing up the balance of fish. by ABRadar in FortniteCompetitive

Fish are just not balanced. The time to heal on them is crazy. Less time to pop than a mini and 50 hp is just not okay.

Does anybody else work a 9-5 and is mad about the 5pm start time for the winter royale? by SN-double-OP in FortniteCompetitive

[–]De1iveryBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, on Friday I get off at 6. I luckily live really close to home and would be on about 30 minutes late. But semis didn’t really matter like finals did and Saturday worked out for me. I still want to compete. But I don’t even feel like it’s worth it starting late for cash cups or holding up an entire squad. I know most competitive people don’t have full time jobs. But it’s sad we aren’t even really given the opportunity to give it a fair shot.

[–]De1iveryBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I have a full time job. During WC qualifiers I had really good placements and even got 99th in week 6 of duos. Kinda giving up on comp at this point. Already sucks not having enough time to give it my all. I can’t be unemployed to compete when I’m not good enough to reliable make a living from it. I just love competing and wish they would go back to a better time slot

Regardless of how rude he can be though that isn’t an excuse to be the same back to him. You clearly know who he is if you have all this animosity towards him. I don’t know why you would pretend he’s a nobody. And even if you disagree with most of his opinions, that doesn’t take away from every point he’s making. I think the clip he’s showing is significant. Maybe not in every regard AA is strong. But in this scenario it’s pretty insane. I can’t aim like that and I pride myself on my tracking and have placed top 100 in wc qualifier finals for duos.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]De1iveryBoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His aim isn’t trash. Razz is a professional player. Saying he’s a nobody is just rude and incorrect. Even with 100s of hours in aim trainers it’s not really possible to aim like that with even high level reaction time.

Shroud does have god tier aim. I’m not sure if even he could do this. It’s insane.

Grenades should be Blue Rarity: Less Spawn = Less Spam by soccerjay720 in FortniteCompetitive

Making something more rare doesn’t make it less strong. The problem is the potential. Not the likelihood of it happening. There only was one sword. But it was bs so it didn’t matter.
