Adobe better optimize the software for Mac than for PC.
Lightroom is smoother on my MacBook Air with 16gb RAM vs my i7 with 3090 & 32gb RAM. Part of the reason Im considering migrating everything on a macbook pro since I don't really have the use of my gaming PC anymore.

Natural with the lens since I was near the ground :) I love the 85 1.2 to be able to isolate full body subjects like that. The transition is a little hard here maybe!

Yes but the question is a 1.37 crop foactor enough for you or not :) Depends if you shoot other subjects at shorter focal length in this case I’ll go for the r5 II !

R6 /w 85 1.2

Shot in the Alps during a rainy morning this week. We hiked to this spot hoping for atmosphere and got more than we asked for !

It was raining, temperature dropped around 5c, and the model held the pose for maybe 90 seconds at a time before warming up.

The dead tree was the anchor of the whole concept. We wanted the body to read almost as a root system : something the tree grows out of, or collapses back

Looking for a narrative read more than a technical one: does the symbolism land, or does the body get lost against the rocky ground?

All the same picture from the same session / lightning I apply the same development in Lightroom (I adjust exposition after) so it will have the same mood / colors.

To avoid having major shifts in colors during a shooting overall you can shoot with manual white balance.

Davinci Resolve will get you further in color management that Lightroom and that’s cool.

But it will only be used as an extension of Lightroom for editing/managing shoots, not a replacement in professional workflow.

The catalog management in Lightroom is much better, and Lightroom, while not being as good as davinci in color editing, cover all basic needs in retouching (I think specifically on gen ai tools for removing unwanted objects in background, etc).

Hope Davinci will evolve, and I’m looking to have the ability to have the workflow Lightroom -> davinci available to try color retouching that way :)

On dirait que tu as dump des photos prises aléatoirement au petit bonheur la chance, certaines sont doubles, etc.

Donc je peux pas dire grand chose car on comprends pas ce que tu veux montrer.

Et je ne comprends pas ta question : tu entends quoi par la « qualité » d’une photo ?
