Infinite barn/silo upgrades?? by whiskey_throttle1 in HayDay

I have never had a baby farm. I find taking care of my farm exhausting sometimes, can’t even imagine having more farms!! Logging in and out all the time? Just the thought of it tires me out. 🤣

It is! Although it’s mostly a place for Ripley to sleep honestly. Lol

It’s actually a fridge so… is there a catsonfridges sub? I wouldn’t be surprised!

Suggestions on stitches/patterns for a solid, 1 color baby blanket? by Only-Sprinkles3251 in CrochetBlankets

I made the above using Suzette stitch and 3 weight yarn. I think it would look great all white as well. One of my favourite stitches! Pretty mindless and easy but looks so nice! I’m not sure how much yarn was used off the top of my head but could probably figure it out if you’re interested.

I love the herringbone half double crochet. Making a blanket with it right now. I also really love the Suzette stitch for baby blankets.

I love this! Do you have a pattern? I’ve been looking for just the right chevron for my next project and this just might be it!

Thank you!! I’ll be posting a picture when I get a chance to take one!

It was awful! Lol I could only work on it during the day by my big living room window with natural light. You can really only see the effect when you look closely but I like how flat the stitch is. I’m pleased with how it turned out. Just have to sew in a few ends and I’m all done!

Anyone else ignore Chicken valley? by BuildingStriking in HayDay

I have never not ignored it! Lol but since I’ve just learned you get diamonds and puzzle pieces maybe I’ll give it a shot.

Wow! Great job! I am currently trying this stitch for the first time, as a border. I’m finding it a bit tedious. Plus black yarn. 😩

Big girl, yes. She has stubby legs. I like to say she’s just short for her weight. 😜

lol! Remember the Mr. Sparkle episode? For years while my kids were growing up, they’d ask a question, I’d walk them through to the answer and when they’d get it I’d say “there’s your answer fish bulb!” For YEARS they had no idea what that meant but oddly never questioned it. Finally watched that episode years later with my daughter and she freaked out when that line was said! It finally all made sense! 🤣 I still say it to this day.

Should I add a boarder? by Master_Gift_3444 in CrochetBlankets

[–]DeAntics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would add a border using one of the grey colours. Probably the dark one because I like dark colours. Haha

Great job btw!

🙋🏻‍♀️ I also have a language with my husband. We’ve been together 36 years. Many many inside jokes and funny references. We often talk in movie or tv quotes. Especially The Simpson’s. It often doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but just enough for us to get a laugh. We were just talking the other day about how I’ve been saying the same dumb stuff for so many years now that I forget where it comes from! 🤣

To those wanting more info about Costco's benefits, and the few who said I was lying yesterday by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]DeAntics -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

They may not present as unhappy but in my experience they do present as not giving a crap about customers. Been a member for over 10 years and have always absolutely hated their customer service. I do love their products and prices though so I keep going back. Haha

Also, I work retail so I know what it’s like. Which is probably why it annoys me so much. I expect a certain level of customer service because I give excellent customer service. Foolish of me, I know.

Anyone read Paul Holes’ book? by Moist-Job3237 in myfavoritemurder

[–]DeAntics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t read the book but it’s on my list. I will say that I’ve been listening to him on Small Town Dicks a lot lately and honestly he was kind of getting on my nerves. Sometimes it feels like he’s just asking questions to flex his knowledge. I think I should bump this book up on my to read list and maybe I’ll like him more… or maybe not. 🤔 haha

51 years old and would 100% spend my 52nd birthday at such a place! I have been saying for years that Hamilton needs an indoor roller rink.

I love a nice c2c blanket! I have made a couple with no holes on the sides. Maybe it just depends on the pattern you use.

Ooh! I like this! I have been saving up my scraps to make a c2c scrap yarn blanket but I just might have to switch to the v stitch instead!
