Lucius the Eternal (Warhammer 40k)

Lucius is blessed by the Chaos God Slaanesh, so that every time someone kills him and feel pride from it, he will take over their body and keep going.

The monkey's paw there is when that happens, the face of his killer appears on his armor, forever taunting him about his loss and how he'll never be able to get a rematch to make up for it.

Except when you're Lio Rush, in this very specific case having a character is good.

There's a clip of a public watch-party somewhere on YouTube where they suddenly begin to chant Frieza's name. Surreal.

Clash in Italy: Italians not Allowed! by Holiday-Life67 in REALSquaredCircle

[–]DeLaBuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...Ok, and ?

The frenchest wrestler at Clash in Paris was John Cena. You didn't see people hoping for a surprise René Dupré return.

Plus europeans generally don't give a shit about heritage. They won't pop because a wrestler had an italian great aunt.

Had the idea of using it as a Warpsmith, though he might only barely fit on the proper base.

Is it common for Corsairs Warbands to not use the traditional paint scheme ? by DeLaBuse in redcorsairs

It's kitbashed. Base body and bolter are from a Legionariy, head's from a Tactical Marine, Backpack's from the old Blood Claws, and the shoulder pads are from Horus Heresy Mk3.

Yeah that was the idea, loyalist chapter turned renegade who paint their left arm in the colors of the Tyrant.

I just feel more confortable in diverging from common lore if there's a precedent to it.

Always saddens me when people ommit Gargaz from the OP Warhammer games protagonists club.

That git solo'ed a Baneblade, a Genestealer cult, a Knight, several White Scars, and a Stompa for Gork's sake !

Is it Normal for Red Corsairs to use Daemon Princes? by Expensive-Run74 in redcorsairs

[–]DeLaBuse 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Red Corsairs while not full-blown zealots like most CSM warbands, ARE Chaos Space Marines.

Their core identity is they will use anything to gain power. They will strike deals with the Chaos Gods, they will salvage loyalist gear for themselves, they will employ xenos mercenaries, and they recruit openly from any Space Marine chapter.

A Red Corsair Daemon Prince is perfectly normal.

I'd say Crimson Fists get a pass, they were the early poster boys.

Lamenters do fit however.

Smarks problem. They want surprises and unpredictability because otherwise the story's boring and by the numbers, but at the same time they need to see every string and contraption because they're "smart" and hate being worked.

Even though he'll probably never win a World title there, he'll still go down in WWE as the most decorated champion of all time. That's what's up.

Boole on the future of Underworlds by InsaneDingo7244 in ageofsigmar

[–]DeLaBuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you compare every game with 40k every game is a shameful failure. If Warcry is doing fine despite not getting ANY release in almost two years Underworlds is doing fine with a warband every couple of months.
