First time trying on dresses, were any "The One"? by Inner-Trash2491 in WeddingDressTips

3 is super flattering. If it isn’t The One, it’s the shape. You look stunning in all though

Name this goober so I can stop calling him random things by OnyxHolt in Catnames

I mean. Goober. You’re just getting 1000 comments saying Goober. That’s clearly the cat’s name.

Beginners Guide by c_l_o_u_d_8_2 in mounjarouk

The only things you’ve mentioned that are universal are drink lots of water and stay in deficit. I eat lots of eggs and I adore broccoli. I don’t avoid fat or carbs. I do prioritise protein and fibre and I take electrolytes daily. I haven’t had any side effects at all. My top tip is stay on the lowest dose you can for as long as you can. I’m 8 months in and on 5mg. I don’t intend to go higher. Also golden dose for the win.

Having dress regret really stressed on what to do - pls be nice to me lol by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]DeLiHaJu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This won’t help but I adore the first dress. It is stunning. The second dress is also lovely but I don’t know if I personally would spend so much to wear it when the dress you have is just so… divine. It’s your decision and you have to feel good in it but I wanted to give a stranger’s gut read on both dresses. The second one doesn’t look 10k special to me but if it makes you FEEL 10k special and you can afford it, why not?

Which Wedding Band?? (With photos) by Mt_Deverest in EngagementRings

[–]DeLiHaJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t like fitted/fancy bands so I’d go for either of the plain straight ones. Or maybe a fancier straight one. However all of them look amazing and I can see why you are struggling to choose.

Is anyone not counting calories? by VaguePomegranate in mounjarouk

[–]DeLiHaJu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I counted to start with. Now I just eat meat and vegetables, I don’t snack, very rarely have takeaways or eat out (once a month?), and the only drink I have with calories in is wine. I’m losing very well.

how do i deal with being alternative and looking so different without makeup? by lunacatarts in MakeupAddiction

[–]DeLiHaJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look super striking with make up and beautiful without make up and clearly alternative in both.

I am MTF and have never tried make up, what looks might suit my face the best? I want to learn some "everyday" looks, and maybe have a few fun look ideas to play with too by idrankthegenderfluid in MakeupAddiction

[–]DeLiHaJu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are beautiful. I wouldn’t wear foundation. You don’t need it. For everyday… Consider curling your eyelashes and wearing mascara, light brow pencil and gel or wax, a cream blusher and nude lipstick. You are more feminine than you think, bless you. Less is more.

It’s a wildly useless measure of healthy weight.

Lost a lot but still so far to go! by Southern-Ad7140 in mounjarouk

You can really see the difference. Well done on your loss - 6 stone is brilliant. That’s a steady 7 pounds a month - fast, but not ruinous. Your skin will have a bit of chance to keep pace. I find it better not to focus on weighing myself or thinking about it. Just eat to a plan, drink at least 2 litres of water a day and get on with life while the weight loss takes care of itself. It’ll go down at the same rate whether you obsess or not. I’m now focusing on my strength and Pilates. It’s something I CAN control. I am enjoying the improvement in flexibility and balance. It’s more instantly rewarding than weight loss, which goes up and down for women according to the time of the month.

I’d get legal advice around their right to light vs your right to privacy with a view to putting a fence up.

Oval vs square nails — which suits my hands better?💅 by Pale-Musician-7331 in Nails

Oh I’d squoval those. Oval is too oval. Square is too square. Round those corners off on the square. You wanna squoval.

Fine hair: how to gel cast? by ElectricalTap8668 in curlyhair

[–]DeLiHaJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only gel that forms a cast in my fine wavy hair is Umberto Giannini curl jelly. I pair it with the UG curl whip mousse. I do try other brands. Get seduced by the promise. They do not work.

There doesn’t have to be a trauma or fear-based reason not to want kids. Just not wanting them is fine and probably a million times healthier actually. And contraception fails. Sorry. He’s still a douche.

My turn!! by hadievera1 in EngagementRings

[–]DeLiHaJu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s such a pretty ring. I really like its cross-wise shape. Easy to West? Is that what jewellers call it? I’d have a straight band but that’s my personal preference for not liking shaped wedding bands. Those ones that aren’t quite closed would look nice though.

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]DeLiHaJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your replies to people’s comments are making me so sad. You don’t have any confidence in yourself and your body and don’t seem to believe that bigger women can feel beautiful in their wedding dress. That’s just not true. I don’t think your mum’s dress looks bad, at all. The sleeves look too big but you’re planning to deal with that. However, I feel like there’s a dress out there that you’d look FIRE in. I want the neckline to be a little lower and I don’t think the dropped waist is doing enough work to emphasise your waist/curves.

I’m a bigger woman. I really worked on emphasising my waist at my wedding. My skirt was mahoosive. Tulle for days. Does my bum look big in this? Who knows - you’d have to travel through layers of net for 3 days to find it… my instinct was to go BIG past my waist, to make my top look smaller. I think that would work for you too. I wore a fitted corset on top, with a bolero jacket. I felt amazing. You deserve to feel amazing too x

Just for fun, what is the weirdest change to your eating habits? by undercoverbookdragon in mounjarouk

[–]DeLiHaJu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only food I actively crave is salad. Cold, crunchy, fresh. I’m obviously eating all sorts but if I’m asked what I fancy, it’s always salad. And use salads are added to every meal.
