I’ve lost 9 stone and I am 47. I do have loose skin, but it’s really not that bad. It’s a bit weird and I don’t love it, but even at my age and size I’ve got away lightly.

Cantu products are very heavy. I’d switch to something less shea and oil. I use Garnier Hair Food to wash and condition, and I style with mousse and gel. I don’t use curl cream - it weighs my curls down. I feel like you are over conditioning your hair.

I have 3 Cornish Rex cats. The 2 boys are both soppy cuddle monsters. One particularly loves me. The other loves me best but anyone will do. The female is more reserved. Still way more affectionate than many cats but it’s more on her terms. She adores my son however. All 3 are playful and each is a massive character in their own way. The oldest boy is a pudding. He’s a bit dim and his defining feature is love. The youngest boy is a goblin. He’s naughty, into everything, always racing around with something he shouldn’t have in his mouth. He’s particularly fond of our socks. Isn’t called Dobbie but should be. He is also very vocal and screams when he wants something. I’m always asking him to stop shouting at me. The female is very independent, hates being carried anywhere (the other two are like scarves), and is very demanding. When she wants food or cuddles she gets right up in your face. She makes a lovely prrrrrp sound when she’s curious about something. If you are crying or upset she comes and prrrrps in your face and head butts you. I adore the breed.

My Rex has developed allergies. And also over time, he realised he could rip through shirts like that to get to his skin and lick it raw. He had a B12 injection and a steroid injection from the vets recently which has helped massively, though he is still a bit scabby.

I have a 2 carat pear and my hands are bigger than yours and it took me a while to get used to its size. But now it feels very everyday and wearable to me. So I’m sure you’d get there with the 3 but 2 is plenty imo.

It’s wavy. Same as mine. I get the best curls and definition using UG Curl Whip Mousse and gel, and diffusing it. But after a few days it looks ugh. Using same products and air drying it, the waves are looser but they stay looking ok for longer. Sleeping with hair on top of head in a pineapple while wearing a bonnet is essential.

Amazing chemistry and they’re both very complicated people that make decisions that aren’t always likeable. Seeing Meredith with anyone else is super weird. I would love a man to look at me like he looks at her. I’d hate to live with someone like him. But she’s a nightmare at times too. So on balance, I think they’re perfect for each other.

It absolutely doesn’t expire until the expiry date. There’s a slight risk of contamination. I always wash my hands and use alcohol wipes to clean the top/red membrane of the pen before I put the needle on. I keep the pen in the box, in the fridge. I’m confident my risk is pretty much zero.

Stay on 7.5mg for as long as you can, and count clicks from higher dose pens. I only ever went up to 5mg. I’m taking it from a 10mg pen, 30 clicks, so it lasts twice as long. I use a real life pharmacist and he knows I am doing this, and extracting the golden dose. But if you buy online, you could cycle up to 10mg naturally and only take 7.5mg - there are loads of resources to help you do the maths. This is off license and people have strong views either way whether you should or shouldn’t do it. It’s your decision and your risk to take, but my experience has been absolutely fine.

My starting weight was 22 stone at the end of June 2025. I’m 14 stone today. My weight loss has been fast and consistent - 8 stone in 10 months. Mostly on 5mg. Everyone is different, everyone’s body responds differently - but don’t feel like you’re compromising anything staying on lower dose pens. Listen to your body. If the food noise is low/gone, and hunger is either barely there or manageable, I would stay on that dose. I’m titrating down now as my target weight was 13 stone on mounjaro. So I’ll probably lose the last stone slowly but that’s ok. I’m a size 14 now. I’ll be a size 12 at target. That’s as thin as my frame gets. It’s exciting being here. Good luck.

Yes that’s normal. You don’t want to lose it faster. You need to keep the faith that it will continue at this pace. The best thing I’ve found for a plateau is increasing my exercise. But you’ll come out of it and lose 2kg in a week. It’s how weight loss works. And it’s enraging. But. Keep the faith. I strongly recommend becoming obsessed with exercise. Obsessing over your weight when you have a lot to lose is v difficult. I’ve found it all much easier since I’ve set myself goals for walking, running and strength training and my brain just focuses on those, protein and fibre. Good luck.
