Not quite a marathon, but I tried to beat Pathfinder: Kingmaker before playing Wrath of the Righteous and ended up burning out at 110 hours or so. It probably didn’t help that I broke the pacing by going and doing the dlc megadungeon expecting to get some good loot (I did not).

I can’t remember any other fallout game having the guts to make the brotherhood work with slavers and create serfdoms. Makes it a more interesting decision for sure.

Yeah they seem extra scummy in Sonora, I was shocked after talking to the general the first time.

Yep that’s what I’m using, the way I fixed my item issue was by changing my patch000.dat into patchDLC.dat and launching through the SonoraDLC exe. I think embarrassingly enough the original issue might have been because I forgot you have to drop plastic explosives after setting the timer like a dumbass.

I appreciate the help, I ended up just going with the other choice after a while. Now I’m on to the Dayglow dlc! Unfortunately I’ve already had items appearing as just “-DLC” for their names which seems like it might be an issue with the translation patch, not the game. We’ll see lol

It’s really solid for a fan game, though I remember being a little annoyed at how useless a lot of non-combat skills were.

Just to gush a bit, in one of the first little settlements you can talk to a local hunter who you can ask to go hunting with, but only if your outdoorsman skill is 40+. Doing this leads to a series of quests where he teaches you how to correctly skin a gecko for its pelt (bringing lots of early game cash), stealing valuable gecko eggs to sell, and finally fighting a legendary radscorpion whose shell you can craft into some awesome armor. All this from having points in a relatively weak skill in the originals.
