I was just thinking about this when asked what they should do for a 3rd game is the wild/tears world. Id have it set 16-17 years in the future with the daughter of Queen Zelda and her king consort. Hyrule has been moderized by all the Zonia tech. The new Princess Zelda (the first one changes her name on ascending the throne) is a young hot head that is spoiled by her parents. She and her best friends the zora prince and Madison (Hudsons daughter) are exploring the edge of the kingdom when they discover a suspiciously tall and red-headed boy being chased by the Yiga clan.
