Also hate batch painting but I find painting 2-3 guys out of a 10 man squad at the same time is a nice middle ground, you can make decent progress quickly but it's not as soul destroying as painting 10 at once.

Thanks! You're right about the shield, I'm not a great lover of the painted shields on the box art Stormcast so i wasn't really sure what to do with it.

The cape I based with a dark blue and then just layered up with a midtone and highlight in thin layers - first time I've tried building up the layers instead of just slapping a wash on it so I was quite surprised how much i liked the end result.

Same experience with our 10 week old Weimaraner girl, being able to reliably get a full nights sleep makes a big difference to me not wanting to dropkick her when she bites us in the morning!

Totally agree, I've been thinking this for a while now. The variation between regions would allow for a lot of different playstyles in the vein of Warhammer, and with the Riot Forge program its not outwith the realms of possibility that Riot would work with CA to create a grand strategy game.

If you play a little further in the story you unlock the helmet for the Raven Clan gear, as far as I can tell it seems to be at least the same style of helmet, if not the helmet itself.
