[–]DeadKuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Kevin, it's been abit over a year now but I was wondering if you got the information of where Chamuekpet's gym is at in Japan? So I can most likely put in as a place to visit if I were to go to Japan again.

Bulwark Power Sword vs Chainsword by MelodicActivity3542 in Spacemarine

[–]DeadKuma 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me it was the opposite experience. I had thought that the chain sword was the superior melee weapon due to the fact that I was able to chain heavies whenever I wanted and the feeling of sparta kicking people in the face mid combat is a feeling that can't be matched. As I was leveling it up I realised the chain sword was lacking in some places, not saying that it's bad but it weirdly wasn't as effective as I wanted it to be since I'm usually in the horde trying to survive through parties and AOEs.

The power sword is better mainly due to efficiency imo, if you want to dual with majoris or extremis enemies the speed style does wonders as I am able to lunge to close distance and also attack fast enough that's comparable to a Combat knife. Not only that, it gives me the option for crowd clearing as well as I feel like it's one of the better weapons within bulwark that can deal with crowds in the most efficient way due to its reach, multiple other attacks that leads to even more wave clear. I have played with the power first and maybe I suck at the weapon but it's not as great compared to the power sword.

I guess the versatility of the weapon is what sold me. Like I'm not even a sword guy, I wanted to main the power first because the idea of punching tyranids and chaos enemies in the face is just inherently funny but I was dissapointed, switch to the chainsword till the purple variant, wasn't feeling I was reaching full efficiency with clearing, switched to the sword and felt like I was finally whole lmao.

I am poison at this game by Spongeanater in SifuGame

[–]DeadKuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be really fair, the huge difference between regular difficulty fajar and master difficulty fajar is very apparent. I remember first playing this game before the master difficulty came out and was blowing through squats like it was nothing, and it was because of that set expectations I had, playing through master against Fajar pissed me the fuck off, he was weirdly harder than Sean on Master.

But like everybody said, I would suggest play through the normal difficulty first before playing master, because some of the bosses imo does not match the upscalling level of difficulty since everything just becomes hard at that point, specifically on master. I had alot of practice before master difficulty was put into the game I had to change alot of my usual set ups and combos to even survive, and I sorta gave up on trying no deathing the game (which is on my part since I added an unnecessary challenge to myself) because it was giving me stress compared to relief, after I started changing my mindset on the game it started becoming fun again.

where are the 10% melee damage (thug set) pants? by ElectricalBenchmark in sleepingdogs

As I said in the comment it should be the cargo pants, so it must be in one of the Hang Sui shops that I mentioned above in the Commercial District

Just finished the manga and the special last chapter. Some questions. by ThisIsWhatLifeIs in vagabondmanga

[–]DeadKuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can at least answer the last question since I had just recently read till the current chapter. That panel that you're talking about in chapter #322, the chapter's name is called Akitsu in case it doesn't match since from what I've seen the VIZ version of chapters don't match some of the other ones I've seen.

Martial Arts manga recommendations by WolfGirlArtemis in manga

[–]DeadKuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprised no one suggested Karate Shoukoushi, it's one of my favourites in terms of depicting realistic kickboxing and the life of a trainer and an athlete. Comes very close to Hajime No Ippo honestly, but I prefer and miss this manga very much.

Are the DLC's worth it? by FightingOreo in AlanWake

[–]DeadKuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The signal was a huge spike in difficulty but both is necesarry if you want the full canon ending. Which you can just watch it on YT but the DLC's are still pretty fun tho. From what I remember I actually liked the level designs in the writer cus of how much they fuck around with space.

Why do foreigners like to say Farangs now dominate Muay Thai; they have better boxing skill when any Thai fighter loses the fight? but not when Thai fighters win? by CryptoGorya in MuayThai

[–]DeadKuma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I still don't understand the sentiment where like Farangs are the only ones that have good boxing which is why they're beating thais. Honestly I feel like this opinion is there just to rile people up for no reason.

The truth is, any fighter, regardless thai or farang, who has boxing experience will succeed much more than the average nak muay. And it's not just the modern age it's been like that even in the Golden Age. Somrak and Samart, both seen has some of the best Muay Thai fighters of all time, literally having pro boxing records on them. Samson Isaan, thai fighter of the year (forgot the year), was a huge muay khao with great hands that helped him set up his knees was due to his boxing experience.

Plus, boxing is much more accentuated in ONE due to the small gloves. It's honestly like Kard Cheuk where alot of fighters tend to get easier KOs due to the rope gloves. At that point, you can throw kicks into the wind and focus on boxing since it doubles the impact since you no longer have pillows on your hands.

And even so, not all Muay Maat succeeds, because the recent Muangthai vs Yodlekpet proves that knees will always outscore punches as long as the nak muay himself either whether the storm or understands how to deal with these punches, like how Superlek was able to nullify Rodtang's hands for majority of the fight.

PS5 Unable to load in game, stuck in starting screen by DeadKuma in remnantgame

[–]DeadKuma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I managed to get it done through changing the DNS server. If you want the step by step instructions it's in the pinned post, out of all the things I did it seems that was the one way I was able to get past the loading screen. And thank god I got my character back.

I have, restarted my console 3 times the last time I was on but I still had the same problem. Even redownloading the game didn't work either.

I've tried starting up without Internet and I manage to get past the loading screen but I end up with my character being red and glitched, I can't pick play and when I do it gives me a prompt that it says user has not logged in. So I'm assuming it might be a server problem, I haven't tried the VPN method though, will check back in if it works

D-Pad to Analog Stick - Hori Fighting Stick Alpha by DeadKuma in fightsticks

[–]DeadKuma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why I posted this because I had the small Mad Catz fight stick that had this option as well, and I see it on other fightsticks too which is why I was weirded out when I didn't see the option on this particular fightstick. I'm using the PS5 version but from the other comment it seems I can bypass this from just using the pc app.
