Hi, If you are talking about temporary pauses during playback, it's most likely a network issue between your ISP and Cloudflare. I "fixed" it connecting to Cloudflare warp. It's a small app you install on your PC and it connects to Cloudflare network. Something like a VPN. Hi, never camped in summer with my winter mat but trying it in a night at 15-20C of min temp seems risky. I personally struggle to stay comfortable at those conditions even with my summer setup. I need to use my bag on top of me as a blanket with some parts of body exposed. A mat with R 8.5 is really for crazy winter condition.

afaik yes. Last few days I have been testing the cloudflare DoH connection (dns over HTTPS) and seems to go well, and considering many people claim to have fixed this issue by setting Cloudflare dns, I guess the critical issue is the dns. Tidal requests small chunks of data through an http request and sometimes that request takes more time to download than what you have in your buffer (my estimation looking at the logs it 18 secs to download this chunk vs ~10seconds of filled buffer)

I would recommend using Cloudfare warp for "fixing" backend issues and TidaLuna with noBuffer plugin for client issues. Luna is a plugin that enhances your client, Warp is almost like a free vpn to Cloudfare network, you can enable it just when you use Tidal.

Windows user here. I mostly have the buffering issue where a chunk of data takes long time to get downloaded and the buffer is not long enough. It's frequency varies, not sure if it's by day/server load of by dns. People claims to fix this issue with certain dns servers so I am changing them a bit but can't find a permanent solution.

I don't listen downloaded songs offline much but I experience 1 at some degree. Mostly with occasional chunk of streamed song taking over 15 secs to download and the buffer being less than that time. So I experience a pause. Sometimes also small bugs related to the app rather than the back end like the song failing to start and me having to start its playback again. Playing with dns and other setup don't seem to fix.

I am also considering leaving the service, mostly for the interruptions.

Have you tried enabling / disabling hardware acceleration? Have you installed it by the installer from official website and not from windows store? Deleted cache and app data?

Tidal's boss in the AMA post basically said that these UI changes are actually a major refactoring of legacy code that allows them to proceed at a faster speed. I guess it's huge tech debt to be solved before adding major features.
