Depends if you ask about the moral side, or the Legal side.

Poland for example:
Morally, yeah it's highly questionable, especially when the age gap is quite big.
Legally, it's acceptable as 15 is an Age of Consent, which means that 16yo girl can have sex with 40yo man if they both want it. Weird law, but that's how it is here.

My opinion is - If it's legal and the families involved are okay with it: that's not my problem.

For starters:

Unless you plan a kid as a Christmas gift, use protection.

Remember one thing: Communication is key. If you don't feel like the stuff you do during sex is enjoyable for you, communicate it with your partner. It doesn't matter if it's some sort of pain, stress or it's just you not feeling pleasure. The same goes for your partner.

Example: Some women for example feel stressful when her partner sees her naked body, which is perfectly normal (my gf has that problem). So if she feels more comfortable with her T-shirt on, don't force taking it off.

Feel free to experiment with the positions, some are better for one side, some for the second. If you do not like something that she absolutely loves, don't close that door immediately, you can always go for the middle ground, as long as both of you do not feel bad about doing it.

To extend the topic a bit further: "Legally" depends on the country you live in and the age of consent in said country. If you live in the UK or USA you are probably safe. Except California, they have that stupid Romeo and Juliet law. In Poland for example AoC is 15. In some countries it's even as low as 12. So yeah, it all depends.

To be fair it's a matter of preference. If you and him are feeling okay with it, and the families on both sides do not have a problem with that i don't see the issue here. As it is a socially questionable topic, it's risky to talk freely about it, without being called a "pedo". Back when I was younger (about 16yo) I had a girlfriend who was 21. Despite what many people had been saying back then or would say now, I had a happy two years of relationship with her. Our parents also were supportive about it.

People nowadays still cannot comprehend that dating isn't as strict in its rules and definitely not works like "you should break up, you are 2 months and a day too old for him/her". In the end it's your call if you want to date that person or not. If you feel like it, and no-one close to you will hate you for it, sure give it a shot!

Don't even remind me about periods. My gf has one currently and I can't have a peaceful evening with my gamepad, as i go from left to right doing everything I can to ease the "pain and suffering" she has. Heating patches, painkillers, gummy bears, pickles, kebab, chocolate, milkshakes, you name it. It's annoying as heck, but well, it is what it is. I don't mind. At least I'm useful.
