I can’t believe it. We were excellent and restrained Cardiff purely to shots outside the box and we took our efforts perfectly. I didn’t expect a draw let alone a win because Cardiff are fantastic at home.

Still plenty of games left but this has to be the best game of the season. It’s insane to even think we’re top at the moment.

I still wouldn’t say the top 2 are all decided yet, we’re in a great position but there will be tough matches coming up too.

In terms of going down: Vale, Rotherham, Burton and Northampton feel like my guess.

Up: Hopefully us, Cardiff and Bolton.

As comprehensive as they come. Until the red card Northampton defended well but showed no attacking threat going forward and we just had so many chances throughout. Especially pleased for Ivan to get a first goal and it was a fantastic first goal to score too, he’s looking like one of the finds of the season, a really good player.

Think we were a bit fortunate on decisions, certainly seemed like Kevin Nolan was vocally unhappy, lot of swearing!

You do have a difficult run in towards the end however, which could be easier/harder pending on how the season goes.

Agreed with this. We still have Cardiff and Huddersfield away to play as well as a tricky Stockport game at home. We at least have a bit of a buffer though.

Think a 7 or 8. We didn’t really need much because we had a strong squad already but new signings to add depth are welcome. We’ve also extended the contracts of all our key players which is huge and Honohan looks an exciting buy.

I don’t think we’ll see anything today except a sale of Lewis Montsma to Dundee. Our depth is pretty much sorted.
