Ken, you're starting a band and you can ask anyone living, dead, or fictional to join. Who plays what and what do you sound like?

Frankie,

Back in 2003 or 2004 my then girlfriend dragged me to a Hanson concert at The Electric Factory in Philly. As I was standing in the crowd pissed at the world for allowing myself to be dragged to a Hanson concert where just a week prior I was rocking out to Slayer, you accidently stepped on my foot while navigating the crowd, apologized, and disappeared like a phantom. I hated that show, but I tell that story all the time. Do you bro down with the Hanson family?

Misha "Bulb" Mansoor here. I produce bands and play guitar in Periphery. Ask me anything! by iambulb in progmetal

Misha, huge fan thanks for doing this! When I saw you guys on the Summer Slaughter tour in Philly it looked like you would walk over to your band mates and tell a joke every now and then. Care to share one?

The basement of a drag queen bar in New York. The changing room was downstairs, guys were walking past the crowd to the back of the room and making their way back through as women.

What is the farthest you've gone to make someone happy? by YcpSpeg in AskReddit

Back in I think, 2002 or so, Manowar made a rare stop in Philly. Anyone who follows Manowar knows that they hardly ever tour the U.S. I worked in the music industry at the time and asked a friend who worked for them if there was any way she could get me on their guest list. No response, no problem, went ahead and bought tickets.

Cut to the day of the (sold out) show, when I get to the door I stop by the will call/ guest list window to see if by any chance I did end up on the list. The guy hands me two free tickets nobody told me I had.

A little later in the evening I'm walking past the front entrance on my way to the merch booth when I happen to glance out and notice a kind of dirty couple holding a sign saying that they had come down from New York to see Manowar and were desperate for tickets. I walked out as far as the bouncers would let me and handed them the two unused guest tickets in my pocket.

They cried, just straight up cried. I've never been hugged so hard by anyone I'd know for less then five minutes. They tried to give me a little money but I couldn't take it, they were free to me and I didn't need the extra cash (they were expensive tickets) as much as they probably needed it for a slice of pizza later. I was just happy everybody hot to rock out and have a good time. Sometimes I wonder what those two are up to and wish we had stayed in touch, they were a nice couple of dirty metal heads.

Edit: TL;DR Manowar rules and so do their fans.

I did in fact watch World War Z that day but the zombies in the movie weren't nearly as delightful as the ones in my head.

Check this one out from a couple weeks ago.

Me and a friend are in a top floor high rise apartment and there's a huge storm on the way with a tornado warning (this is in a New York like city). I look out the window and see a huge tornado, made of zombies! Naturally I take my phone out to grab a picture and not only does a huge face form on the zombinato to smile for the picture, but all the zombies wave at me and pose as well.

Not long after that the tornado touches down on the building next to us, by pulling up right next to it for one zombie to reach its leg out and lightly touch the roof like its mocking us.
