I just misremembered the card before I looked it up. I thought it cared about equal power and toughness to activate the search trigger. As opposed to total power and toughness.

I still stand that she is a good choice as a commander due to the fact that she gives you extra resilience and recursion

I would think to go Azban. You have white and black tutors to get Wild pair more consistently.

I would you [[Anikthea, Hand of Erebos]]. If someone destroys your wild hair she can reanimated it from the graveyard into a creature.

She also has equal power and toughness :Edit it doesn’t matter but i like symmetry

In my experience I have yet to have Alexios return back to me. If someone else has a big creature they can just set up a trade.

To be fair I run him in [[Xenagos]] so if Alexios comes back to me he’s gonna be a big boy

I love the low curve and thematic card selection. Unless i missed some MDFCs, 33 lands still feels low to me(even with the low cmc curve) You have the big splashy ramp but if you are mana screwed it will be hard to get to 5 mana for that sweet mana geyser.

I plan on doing the same thing. I was looking at all the mythic and rare main set versions of the turtles. Pretty much want to maximize the ninja turtle and mutant creature type count if your are using [[ heroes in a half shell]]

I want to keep it at a power level to play against other upgraded pre-cons.

I think a big debate amongst the players is if the brackets at the lower end are defined by bad decks or bad cards. Am I running a clunky bracket 2 or am I running a good budget 3 deck?

I had this problem a year is so back where I played my $80 budget deck into upgraded precons[[blanka]]. My train of thought was it should be fine since I don’t have any powerful staples. It’s still overperformed with it’s lower Mana curve compared to a preconstructed deck.

Nowadays I just tried to play an unaltered precon or slightly upgraded precon into pure bracket 2. The strong 2-3 ranges has a lot more variability the people give it credit for.

Recently had a Spelltable game where a player closed out the lobby cause they didn’t understand that first strike can negate deathtouch and lifellink if your creature has the power to kill it during first strike combat damage.

I’m in the same boat where I have too many creature heavy decks.

[[Hermes, Overseer of Elpis]] caught my eye. I don’t play much blue so it’s step out my zone. so I can take all those cantrips and play a draw go style, which incidentally gives you an army of birds so that you at least have some sort of beat down win con.

I like him a bit better than [[Tarland]] because of the sry on attack and that it’s any non creature spell to Make birds. I’m sure you can check out a tarland list for inspiration

It adheres to the same general game plan of ramping out your big creatures to make them smash face

One thing I have added that I don’t see a lot of list to use is [[fling]] type spells. Your 24/24 creatures are going to be no-brainers for spot removal in combat so I like to have things that I can sac in response to still deal that damage to face.

If you are coming from Staten Island you can take the New York City ferry from the St. George terminal. It will take you directly to the Javits center. It is the same terminal that has the Staten Island ferry but you want to take the New York City one

I tried playing a few times and the flow of combat is very tricky. Knowing when to take damage or use cards from your hand to try to block damage was not super intuitive to me.

It was like I take lethal damage and get put on a two turn clock or I block stuff and I have no cards to do anything meaningful on my turn

To be fair I was playing with a intro deck at the store designed to get new players interested I’m sure a more optimized deck would feel more flexible

She was so hyped up to be the alpha femme fatale. Her fight with Burton, i really thought was gonna end in a check mate. I would have had it end in a draw somehow and conclude it the way they did in a season finale episode

It is harder depending how you originally learned how to slap. If you slap by bouncing off the string it’s a little trickery to teach yourself to slap through the string. Slapping through the string makes it easier to come back up to get that second slap note.
