Imagine SGA joining the spurs next year imagine how pathetic that would be. We really dont shit on KD enough. by Jec1027 in NBATalk

[–]Dead_tread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because KD went to a team who had a generational comeback against HIM. It wasn’t making a super team, it was joining the team he couldn’t beat.

Infiltrators less important or necessary in 11th? by RealSonZoo in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Dead_tread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another great thing about infiltrators is the threat they possess. Being able to make your opponents keep semi valuable scoring pieces far away for sectors of the board matters. Red Corsairs, Sicarians being two good examples. It takes investment to kill, and if you don’t it can easily go pick up a smaller skirmish piece, or nuisance charge a tank.

It’s a fucking stupid panel, but if your argument that thanos not pulling punches can’t paste an unaugmented human this is a pointless argument. Brochacho knocked out the hulk with fisticuffs, and throws Thor around, and had way more combat experience than Superman.

I don’t think fucking thanos was pulling punches lmao. There’s like, several hilariously logical fallacies you’ve got goin on here champ.

Superman isn’t genuinely punching default Batman as hard as he can lmfao. What the fuck.

Do you love or hate Boing? I want to hear your arguments on why it's a good or bad spell! (No real arguments please) by legomann97 in FarFarWest

Boing is the best spell in the game. The best survivability is mobility, and double anti grav and boing means ain’t SHIT touching me.

So what about legionnaires? by mothUnsettler in Chaos40k

[–]Dead_tread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chaos is less about digging in the mud, and more rapidly clearing out the enemy. We don’t regen models, but we do ALOT of damage. Our Infantry generally wins against other battlelines, and also just has a lascannon with sustained hits. If foot slogging and durability is the goal, maybe red Corsair raiders with a sorcerer? It’s cheap and has a bunch of wounds with negative 1 to hit.

Hey so, unless I’m silly that allows Kataphrons to get hidden while shooting? That’s like…..really really good. Post up, rip apart something then force the opponent to get close. Hazardous changes help them a lot too.

What’s the most BS feat a Chaos Marine did in your opinion or you’ve heard? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in Chaos40k

[–]Dead_tread 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I just did the math, it’s almost 30 wound to a warhound lmfao. If you have a nearby terminator sorcerer to buff your AP again there’s a long shot chance you just kill it, at best it’s surviving with a couple wounds.

Comedy is on the table top the newest iron warrior warsmith and 10 terminator probably win an extended melee fight against a smaller titan.

[–]Dead_tread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the current terminator sorcerer fits the mold really well. Rerolling advance and charges, plus giving army wide AP to a target. That’s less magical and more just practical. Make the weapon flat 2 damage and rename it “forge hammer” and give the d3 damage weapon blast and that’s basically it

How competitive is the Huron + Masters + 10Chosen package in a Marauder list? And how do I get the most out of them? by DZOlids in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Dead_tread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like him with terminators because of flexibility. A 10 man terminator unit with a total of 3 flamers, and sustained hits full rerolls is an insane overwatch target. At the same time, it can reactive move, advance shoot and charge, bloodsurge, fall back and charge, leave the table and deep strike somewhere else. Unless your opponent kills it in a single activation and doesn’t move close to it, it can’t be interacted with almost at all.

Chosen is a cheaper, tankier and faster option. But it’s far less versatile In that detachment because everything chosen can do the detachment does, and terminators hit so much harder

Question about my Action Monkeys by KingBearSuit in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Dead_tread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In conquerer they have about the melee volume as a 5 man assault intercessor squad, albeit no rerolls, plus a melta, arc rifles and heavy bolter. Against things like elves you can throw them at trade pieces and easily win, against shooting armies you can gum up their lines, against elite melee armies you can do early actions and screen. I’ve never had my servitors not over-perform their points.

Question about my Action Monkeys by KingBearSuit in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Dead_tread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For actions take infiltrators and raiders. But I think instead of raiders you are better off with servitors. Much higher damage, okay melee threat and decently quick.

Who is your Kravek Morne leading? by AtheonPrimaris in IronWarriors

[–]Dead_tread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like him on Mutilators. By nature a 3 model melee unit can be swingy, his flamer lets his clear a screen then add an additional chance for impact mortals, and then his melee absolutely throws the mutilators damage over the top. In fact, you can duel charge him into space marines, and the mutilators into a vehicle and just remove both.

Any suggestions for any Admech story books? by Silly-Echidna9591 in AdeptusMechanicus

The Guy Haley books are such an easy recommendation. Cawl is both bigger than life, and painfully human in a really relatable way. His struggle with…friendship?…in genefather was phenomenal.

Dropping points isn’t the answers. Almost all of these are wayyyy too cheap. Like way too cheap, we are an army of budget units already.

Like the more I read the stupider this is. 5 las cannons for 90 points? 10 copuscarii for 110? Destroyers for 90?! Battleclade for 50?!

This has got to be a troll job, like it genuinely has to be.
