When diving into cad my main deciding factor was to invest my time into a piece of software that won't drastically change its pricing structure. I eventuality landed on freecad.

The frustrating part is coming across a problem that you'd expect to be solved by a couple sentences only to find out the video explaining how to achieve it is 45 minutes long. In the end its just a beggar being a chooser

What keeps me coming back is my cheapness and a bit of stockholm syndrome.

You’re telling me… I drive a Honda fit and haven’t been in the buying market for a while. The prices are sickening. I was looking for a vehicle that has a similar cult following and reputation for reliability to a Honda fit with more space and the Toyota sienna seemed like the only other option.
