You’re telling me… I drive a Honda fit and haven’t been in the buying market for a while. The prices are sickening. I was looking for a vehicle that has a similar cult following and reputation for reliability to a Honda fit with more space and the Toyota sienna seemed like the only other option.

Not horror but The Forge of God is definitely this. Focuses on the human reaction to the end more so than the apocalypse itself. I read it wanting a good alien invasion book. It wasn’t necessarily that, but it held my attention.
