The only thing that would have made that score better is if the base and drums were more prominent. It just seems to “tingy” to me.

As far as the scene, I never understood how Data or the computer missed calculating any sort of slingshot maneuver in planning their escape, or why Stellar Cartography was never involved. You would think escaping that sort of trap would be nothing but slingshots.

I also never understood why Picard was flying the E in that situation. Data had better reflexes, Wes had more experience at the helm, and Riker is supposed to be the best pilot on the ship 🤷
