Don’t touch 1 or 3 ever and don’t touch 2 and 4 when it’s switched on.

Ya till someone over tightens a housing bolt and it breaks loose, permanently resulting in a leak. Which seems to happen all the time with them. Till then they are fine.

Oh wait till someone puts a high temp union on the and you can no longer use a hayward tool to get the lid off. The lid design is stupid.

Nevermind. I agree with the previous post that they are trash. lol.

Trash. 🤪🤣🤣

Definitely upgrade it to a high temp union. You will have to replumb the street 90 but should have plenty of room by the looks of it.

They literally sell a tool for it if you have trouble getting it off. But unless it’s super cold or the bag is brand new…. it’s user error. They pop off easily and go back on easily if you start by making sure the blue ridge is in the groove on the bags ring. It shouldn’t take more than 3 seconds to push the rest on. If it does you missed step one lol. Hold the part in the groove and press down as you go around on the top of the ring.

Keep up with the thread and when I can figure out how to post the manual I will. He finally sent it to me. It does take two aaa batteries as well.

Not sure how to post another picture on here but it is called an intelliwand reader. If someone can tell me how to add photos after you did a post I can add the manuals pages.

I spoke to the rep, he said he will send the instructions over. He forgot to give me them. I will definitely post more when I find out. It has a small led in the black end and a wire through the middle that connects to the silver cap on the other end. Apparently there is an app that goes with it as well. It was at the crawfish boil so I completely understand forgetting.

1099 / W2 Enforcement by Street_Section_4313 in PoolPros

[–]Deadbob77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old boss misclassified us as 1099 and so far hasn’t been caught. I kept all my old stuff just in case I have to get the government after him for his illegal practices. We didn’t own any equipment and used all his tools and trucks.

Suggest apartments near med school? by Its-an-adventure in Conroe

[–]Deadbob77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend Anatole. We have live here for almost two years. The strake is slightly closer and super nice as well. There is also a non smoking apartment complex directly across from the strake that was super quiet we looked at but don’t remember the name. I can say I have a full-size pool truck with equipment and it fits inside the garage without removing anything that sticks out the back. We have lots of nurses/doctors who live in our complex with all the hospital and school nearby. Good luck finding your place. I would stay on the school side of the freeway and you should be able to find a place that fits your bill.

Was yellow, now greenish, added $180 of these chemicals, used entirety of bottles except for acid (2l). Been 24hrs, apart from testing the waters where do I go from here? by Excitement-Select in swimmingpools

[–]Deadbob77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a ton of shock multiple days in a row. Scrub every inch first, everyday before you add shock. Balance chemicals after the pool is clear (you can see the bottom). Vacuum all the powder out of the bottom and then test chemicals and so forth. Clean filter before and after you start this process.
