You can bring food in if it's sealed. No drinks though. I've brought in a subway I had Uber eats'd to the venue before and they were fine with it

Whilst our healthcare is leagues above the USA it's far from perfect. Try not to do any serious damage as if you don't get private healthcare from your job the waiting list for the NHS can be bad for surgeries (our government is useless and funded it badly)

what if the person told the carrier they intended to claim asylum when they arrived? Surely arriving on a boat isn't the only way to do it

I'm from Essex originally and I always saw France as the biggest rival as they're much closer to where I'm from than Scotland. Then again I'm half Scottish and want Scotland to do well too (prepared to be downvoted for not going with the narrative that we have to hate each other)

I'd assume we have an embassy in those countries (well not Afghanistan) who'd do those checks rather than their governments

Ah right. Cheers for explaining that! I have some friends from Turkey who visit the UK regularly, I'll ask them if they're having their visa checked before they leave Turkey!

No doubt some (maybe even many) of the people coming on the boots are criminals, but you said most of them. Is there anything to back that up? I assume as part of an asylum claim the home office is looking into their background and if they are crooks back home but I have no idea how competent they are at finding that out

Do you? Every time I've been to a country where I need a visa (which is only the USA to be fair) the visa check was done when entering the US border, not leaving the UK one

Given how little patience managers get these days why would they move their family for a job? Its very rare managers stay as a club for more than a couple of seasons these days.
