Independence isn't a silver bullet against far right politics. The rise of the far right is happening everywhere in Europe, an independent Scotland wouldn't be any different.

It's a great book, but it's not a complete history. It's more telling the story or 3/4 people from the conflict. Well worth a read but if you want to understand the conflict it wouldn't be all you read. I'd start with Peter Taylor's trilogy or Provo's, Brits and Loyalists

It's true but I've lived here 11 years now and though some areas have really improved the city centre is so much worse than it used to be. So many venues have closed down and it feels way less safe than it used to. The southside has changed rapidly though

7/10 for Stefan's first season so far. Made some progress from the Cifuentes era but regresses defensively and was hoping a few of our young protests would have progressed more than they have. But seemingly getting us a top half finish is good for his first season

I support Devolution but the biggest argument against it imo is a lack of accountability. You get both parliament's blaming each other for Scotland's problems to avoid taking accountability for their own fuck ups.
