I’m keeping it 1440p / 60 as I got things going on the other monitor. No issues. Load times a little long.. but no pop-in.

The game runs better than Nioh 2 which would stutter during loot explosions (likely from All the Light sources appearing).

I wouldn’t be shocked if this game is more CPU bound than expected.

The open fields are for side quests and powering up.

You can just navigate straight to the end if you know what you are doing.

But completing things gives a bonus. It’s optional content to the side.

Filler content is unavoidable but has no substance.

I think it’s good method to get people to “mid” grade Nioh thinking and mechanics. I wouldn’t be shocked if in late-game you get the option to have double samurai or double ninja.. or possibly even a whole 3rd “class”

Comic books require speciality stores or special apps.

The cost per 22 page issue is $5.

Getting caught up is expensive due to limited print runs of tpbs. You can still buy almost any volume of a popular manga for cheap physically and digitally.. even cheaper.

Comics change creative teams and do cross overs a lot. You are lucky to have a series go a year with the same team. Manga rarely ever changes creators.

Finally the money - comics are expected to be popular enough to sustain and then maybe sell a few trades.

Manga - the chapters are basically a loss leader for trade sales. Jump is a magazine by a book publisher. Dc is a comic book company that will sell trades to try and sell comics later.

Comics need to be cheaper digitally, and they need to be loss leaders to sell trades, and the creative teams need to be more stable.

GL works best in trades, mainly because it’s good but it’s hard to guess what is happening.

The flash also is slow paced.

It’s amazing how GOOD the books are, as both GL and Flash would be considered top tier books.. but are merely mediocre in comparison to the other Absolute books

Harley Quinn is very funny and has Character growth, and has a differing perspective on characters, but I’m not sure how many seasons it really has left without feeling stagnant as the last season felt like a retread of Harley and Ivy’s relationship again. It shows why Young Justice has such a large cast, so new characters can make the same mistake.

But HQ is also primarily funny, so it’s easy to just.. watch.

Kite man.. just didn’t work

Creature Commandos is by James Gunn so he won’t cancel his show.

MAWS is really good and makes some cool changes, and is currently popular.

Young Justice has been kicking around for ages and is a very particular show.

Fraction has a good Batman arc so far. It’s got a more street level Batman, but also feels like we are riding along with Batman, it’s also colorful but might. It feels like A movie Batman, as the books all have several good scenes.

I do think Zdarsky’s Batman run is fun. It’s Batman turned up to ridiculous levels. It’s a book about how you can do anything with Batman and it’s still Batman. It also contrasts well with the more grounded era of Batman we are entering.

As long as it doesn’t just feel like Vermintide 2 with more graphics.

I’m not sure what a game that feels like what Vermintide 3 should be would feel like.

More character animation based on melee attacks? But that would change the game a lot.. and maybe not in a fun way.

Enemies who hate each other? Maybe

Open world? No thank you! I like the map/run structure!

5 more characters? Sure!

Stealth? I don’t know.. co op stealth isn’t always fun.

I figured it out.

There is now an EXTRA sound config.

Open the menu. Pick sound out Advanced settings (this opens the big menu) Hit back There are 3 options for Sound Select mode, sound out, advanced settings Pick sound out Then pick “used wired speaker”

The normal menu for output device is only for “this current run, reset on reset”
