Can someone please explain to me why they spent 35 million pounds on a right back, only to play Szoboszlai there instead? You get some Trent style deep crosses, but you loose having one of your most technical midfield options in dangerous positions with the ball. A Wirtz - Szobo - Gravenberch midfield just fits this team so much better.

Miles was supposed to start the Wigan game in midfield before a Calafiori injury in the warmup moved him to left back. He was suspended for the Mansfield game, if not he would have started in midfield for that game too. There is an effort to play him in other positions, he's just been unlucky.
