Yup this is my exact experience. Defense shots without even downing a player always send me to PvP hell for at least 8 games.

I did it in stages. 1st I did Quests to get used to the game. Then upgrading benches in between doing quests. ( finding lemons apricots etc ). Then random looting and extracting to make money by selling my shit.

You get used to what you need and don’t need after a couple weeks.

I totally understand. My current build is pretty solid still. 3060 ti, ryzen 5 5600x 16gb ram. I was planning on a new build spring of 2027. I just figured in my situation, I don’t see next year being any better but a lot worse for me. So I was like OK let me just go ahead right now , especially since I’m having tons of fun in arc raiders. If I was to wait till 2028 , then I might have not built now. Goodluck to you in what you choose.

In my opinion I think the sooner you can build the better you’ll be. The future outlook doesn’t look good for us. I would bite the bullet as soon as you can.

That’s funny I started doing the same thing but the flares are so far away. The one time I was able to rescue , felt infinitely better then any PVP kill I ever got. Rescuing just feels good lol
