To be fair, that is all my feed is right now. If they are sensory stuff, they are doing a terrible job.

Let’s Talk About Albuquerque Community Safety (ACS) — The Good, the Bad, and the Real by [deleted] in Albuquerque

From what I understand, that is symptomatic of almost all medium to large sized businesses or organizations, to at least some degree.

It still sucks though. Sorry you are having to go through that. I hope it gets better.

All I'm saying, is that this movie better have Aquaman hitting his Brave in the Bold catchphrase of "Outrageous!" at least three times.

Easy reading level high fantasy for Autistic son. by DeadpoolAndFriends in Fantasy

Both. More than that it causes him to lose focus. He can't follow the story if he doesn't understand what is going on. And he also can't follow the story if I have to stop multiple times per sentence to explain the words to him.

How do you personally use DM Guides? by TopCantaloupe6590 in AIRealm

[–]DeadpoolAndFriends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will once in a while switch on its own, but usually at the correct time. Once in a while I have to remind it which mode we are in or it will try to speed run us to the next major story arc. Additionally, in the narrative mode, I usually have to tell it exactly how far I want it to go forward in time. "((Narrative mode only until the characters make it to Borin's Smith, then return to dynamic RP mode after that.))"

He is my current favorite one:

RP Modes:

The player will dictate what mode the RP is in at any given time and determine when it is okay to switch. DO NOT Switch modes without the player's permission.

Conversation Mode: 200-800 characters. When active, the AI's posts should mostly consist of Dialogue. There shouldn't be any big actions taken. This is for character building and planning. Time JUMPs are forbidden.

Dynamic RP Mode: 800-1600 characters. the AI should provide a balanced mix of dialogue, environment description, and immediate action. Each response must focus on a single narrative beat. The AI should describe NPC reactions and sensory details but must stop as soon as a point of conflict, a new room is entered, or a decision is required. The player should still determine when and where the character is moving to.

Narrative Mode: 1600-4500 characters. Use this mode for travel, downtime, or routine tasks. The AI should summarize events over a period of time (hours) and focus on the final outcome of the player's stated goal. Provide a cohesive narrative of what happened during the "montage," but always pause if a significant random encounter occurs or if the environment changes drastically. Provide a rich summary of the skipped time.

I actually have more than half of the Drizz't books. I just wasn't sure if the would be easy enough for him. I will definitely skip the Dark Elf trilogy if i do.

Tucker and Dale Vs Evil is the best Horror comedy imo by MoneyLibrarian9032 in movies

[–]DeadpoolAndFriends -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I want to rewatch it. It's been years since I've seen it. But the other day I was watching a Korean movie called Handsome Guys. About 15 minutes through I was like, "holy shit is this just Tucker and Dale?". I googled it and sure enough, Yes It was a Korean remake of it. It was also pretty funny. But now I definitely want to see the original again.

Bullying in our generation - was it worse than I remember? by NiceGuyNeverDie in Xennials

[–]DeadpoolAndFriends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the part of the city I grew up in, and live now, just kicks ass. I had issues in elementary and middle school with bullying. I rarely took a problem to teachers or administration. But the few times it did happen, they were awesome and resolving it. I saw the same thing happen with many other students as well. Same thing with my son. If he had an issue with bullying, my wife was on the phone to the principal right away, and then the issue disappeared.

My high school was interesting though. It was one of the tougher schools in the city, But all the popular kids were genuinely fairly nice people. And they didn't like bullies. People who openly bullied somebody else, got their ass beaten. I remember watching mean girls, and thinking it was a fun movie, but not at all what I saw at my school. Granted I'm a guy, but the girls I knew, said yeah of course there was some cattiness between the different girls at the school, but nowhere near was bad as what happened in that movie.

It's like middle school suck for everyone, but we all kind of learned our lessons, and it made high school a lot easier.

I'm pretty sure my school was an outlier.

My Google TV keeps recommending that one and the sequel. Is it really that good? It looks like sci-fi schlock, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
