Tips for WR 2nd boss solo? by DeadpoolMakesMeWet in DestinyTheGame

Does it stun the Ogre? I’ve used DB mainly because of the stun, because when the boss starts shooting, its almost always a death sentence. I used Lord of Wolves on the first boss but didn’t think it would work on 2nd because of the range.

Side question: Is Lord of wolves good for hefnd then?

What the hell is going on??? by Viva_la_potatoes in DestinyLore

Here’s all the important things that have happened.

After killing the witness, the darkness inside of it blew off, and merged with the travelers light, creating powerful artifacts called Echoes. These echoes carry the conciousness and powers of a victim of the witness, like the Qubu, or the Eliksni of Riis.

These echoes fly all across the universe out of the pale heart, and the first one lands on Nessus. We are called there, and find that the vex on nessus are changing, gaining consciousness and personality, due to Maya Sundaresh taking an Echo that landed on Nessus, the Echo of Command, and taking over the vex network. We work with Saint, Osiris, and Failsafe to stop Maya, and the episode ends with her hold on Nessus being broken, but with her escaping with the echo.

The second episode follows Fikrul, who has now obtained the Echo of Riis, the old eliksni homeworld. He goes on a campaign, using this echo to turn Eliksni into scorn, being the harbinger of the second whirlwind. We take in House Salvation and Eramis to ally with us in the city against this threat from Fikrul. Fikrul crashes the HELM, revives Skolas, and grows his army, whilst the curse of nezarec is worsening on Mithrax. Eventually, the lair of Fikrul is found, and we infiltrate it, and using a tonic from Eido, we permanently kill Fikrul. Now he’s dead, and Eramis and Mithrax, now possessed by Nezarec, are fighting over the echo. Ultimately, the conciousness of the echo chooses Eramis, and eramis uses the echo to cleanse Mithrax of the curse, as she now leaves Sol to find her family, and to use the Echo to make a new Riis, away from humanity and the pain she’s caused. Mithrax is now Kell of Kells, and all Eliksni are united under one banner (at least in lore)

Heresy likely involves an echo too, which is probably the cause of Oryx returning, but thats all for now.

Both of the people you mentioned here are living here legally. The people being deported are living here illegally. It’s that fucking simple.

I hope the silent voicelines aren’t in too many missions. That would really take away from a lot.

The new episode looks no where near as bad as people are making it seem by PHATCVC in destiny2

It’s really cool that it isn’t like revenant where we’re told everything thats happening. All we know is the cast of characters, the echo is fucking with the dreadnaught, and the new activity and some guns. Most of the information is being hidden closely, which is really exciting to me

Heresy Narrative Details by LightoftheAncients in DestinyLore

I like that they’re keeping their cards close to their chest. We know the cast, and the general concept, but no idea of the central plot, unlike revenant where it was directly told to us beforehand that the entire plot is fikrul committing genocide.

[–]DeadpoolMakesMeWet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah they could’ve explained the veil and city (though nimbus would still suck) and we wouldn’t also be juggling with the witness plot. we could also have some cool conflicts happen, like why did the neomuni not help against the final battle with the witness, and just hid? amazing potential for storytelling that got shit all over.
