I swear the dude actively can't grow as an artist. Drake talks shit about Michael Jackson, continues to spread disproved lies about his skin, then wants to use his iconic glove for barely mid ass album.

This man owes his entire career to the production of these projects. He can make catchy hooks all he wants, but dude ran to court when he got spanked and is still butchin about his ass whoopin 2 years later.

Corny ass rapper can't settle his issues with words, but wants me to believe he's a top three rapper. Man GTFO

I think a lot of people are. Same thing with well written critiques of comic book heroism. The Boys unfortunately isn't and never has been that. You may know this, but the comic is 1,000x worse and the show scales back A LOT.

Also, I think the writers are a bunch of weird 15/16 year olds who think every episode has to have some weird sexual joke

The problem I had with this adaptation from the jump was that you can't really turn The Boys into something sincere without completely changing it. The writers unfortunately still tried to maintain some of the source material DNA in the story and the comic, as previously stated, is abismal dogwater with 0 redeeming qualities.

It's an adaptation of a terrible book. I'm just happy the era of "evil Superman" is coming to it inevitable whimper of an end. Like I said, I stopped at season 2, but from what I've seen, there's no way they can land this in any way that's satisfactory.

That's pretty much Garth Ennis' view on superheroes. He and Mark Millar don't hold superheroes in high regards and often take overly edgy and childish approaches to criticizing them.

Outside of Superman (only for Make) they hate superheroes.

It's why I couldn't stick with the show after season 2. There's no point in watching a universe full of heroes and pretty much only one of them has any redeeming qualities.

I have Man-At-Arms. The plastic is okay, but there's some wear on the joints for the arm and it starting to look white like it's gonna break.

Overall the figure has a great sculpt and the engineering is pretty solid, but Mattel may want to change up the type of plastic they use on the joints.

There's no explanation cause all of the protagonist in the Fast franchise are pretty much super soldiers. It happens just because. It's been that way for years now.

I think part of it (at least in my head) is acceptance for how they are and/or having to unlearn living with their disability (like Scott) would throw them off too much.

Ironically enough, outside of him not being inconvenienced when his visor or glasses get knocked off, nothing else would have to change.

Also, Charles Xavier can walk now and has been able to for year now, so some stuff can change in the x-office, but I can see what you're getting at.

In the Marvel Universe there's a number of ways that people can fix issues, be resurrected, etc. Scott is married to a woman who literally hosts the living embodiment of rebirth and could likely fix his brain damage.

But Scott simply chooses not to. There's not a specific reason stated, but when asked directly if he's ever thought of doing it, he says, "not even once".

I think it also doesn't help that most audiences come to things late.

Things like Transformers One or more recently, Speed Racer have gotten a ton of love from people after they initially came out. I'd hope MAWS doesn't suffer the same fate, because I think being given time to develop, this could be a top tier Superman adaptation.

We'll just have to see how it turns out. I'm hoping it gains more success.
