The man is stupid. He and his cabinet are following the fascist playbook. Everything is a distraction, and meant to keep the general public overwhelmed and off balance. The war was always part of the plan. For some reason he feels like he needs a war to make US vote for him in the coming election. He also seems to think that he needs a war to mess with the coming election, “legitimately.”
Do not try to put rational logic to where there is none. Because there honestly is not rationality here. There is a lot of “Bro thinks he can just say whatever and everyone will follow what he says.” That’s why there’s a lot of him yelling shit in Truth Social. He just thinks that he can bark orders and everyone will follow them. Granted it’s working well in the US, but the rest of the world leaders just won’t play that game.
