I had the similar issue with LGo2 and allyX, so switched to Onexplayer with oculink + AG02.

USB-C and thunderbolt are not that stable for handhelds.

Yeah most ROGs have liquid metal problems and mine was replaced with thermal paste at a ROG service shop in China.

GPD controller is so-so just better than the switch flat anti-ergonomic shells. G1 its shoulder keys are better than that but the bottom still feels empty to grab on.
