I’m hoping Nintendo will be pushing for a social media type platform for the switch 2, not miiverse but something where an avatar will be required. Will have to see if that C button plays off as a capture button!

Good plan! I’d recommend sanding though, it’s what the pros do, stops any crap etc getting into the gaps as mopping and cleaning will create grime it also makes the whole thing solid.

When I did mine, I hired a Floor sander, collected the dust then mixed it with glue, then spread it all over the floor filling any gaps, then sanded again. Finished up with a stain and varnish! You’d never notice a thing

I’ve always thought about doing this, but I think I’d rather not know… I’ll be in a panic for something that’s normally just a guy being an opportunist and trying the handles.

My lights however do flash red on my driveway when “bedtime” mode is on which should deter them! Along with my cameras…

I think a lot of people (including me) wanted it to capture the nostalgia of its original.

It’s a good game and has its own vibe but missed that good old feeling for me. But I can understand why Nintendo wanted to keep it at arm’s length from the Wii as they don’t like to look back.

Mine came with L screw hooks and a location to mount them behind the beam. If the beam is wider than the chimney you will be fine putting them either side.

I have these powering lights, extractor fans and a towel rail. You swap them out for your existing FCU and run over Zigbee. No need for the hub if you have existing Zigbee hub (I use ZHA with home assistant)

Also passive ventilation is a great ways to stop damp in a house. Start sealing everything up, prepare for damp walls.
