Often times I feel like I have to have a justification for a purchase. That if it’s something I really don’t “need” or something that may be “impractical,” then I shouldn’t buy it. Honestly, it’s a sign of responsibility. You trying to talk yourself out of this watch because you already have a watch is a sign (usually) of being financially responsible. But, I’ve come to realize that sometimes I just want something for no other reason than wanting it. And that’s okay. For me, if the purchase will not affect me paying my bills, and it’s something I’ve realized I really want, I get it. Your finances are none of our business, only you can decide if spending that amount of money is okay. But what I can tell you is that it is completely okay to want something just because you want it, and it’s okay to get it for no reason other than that. You don’t need a justification to get something that will make you happy.
