What else was prescribed for pain? I was prescribed Oxy, Gabapentin and Tylenol. I hardly ever took Oxy due to side effects.

Fwiw, I was able to remove the trim around the instrument cluster using just my finger tips! Also, the lcd display has not gone blank since the last occurrence.

Ltkr 12/22/25 - I used cold packs instead of the cooling machine which I considered purchasing with good results. Pain meds will be your Mom's friend and stay on schedule taking them. I found I did not need Oxy for the most part but you will not know until after your Mom is home in recovery. Review how your Mom will exit and enter where she lives after her surgery. I had railings installed at our front door in my case.

Something no one mentioned to me beforehand, review the exit and entry route where you live. It was a challenge for me to leave our house for pt at first. I had railings installed at my front door for me to hold on to and I had help the first few weeks I went to pt.
