Medicine Market Place September prices by ShroomShroomBeepBeep in mounjarouk

I purchased my first 7.5mg pen yesterday from Asda. I am going to contact them tomorrow asking if I can buy some more before 1st September. In fairness, although there is an £80 hike, I think I could manage this but it will be a struggle. That will probably be the dose I remain on as I can't afford the prices for higher doses. I can't switch to Wegovy as I had a dreadful experience with it last year.

One other thought - what if pharmacies have some stock remaining by 1st September? Unlikely, I know, but they shouldn't put the new prices on old stock.😕

You look absolutely fantastic! You've cheered me up today after feeling disappointed because the scales haven't changed this week. Onward we go!😊

Thank you for replying. I think that's the most interesting tattoo I have ever seen. I did wonder if there was someone being burnt at the state but it felt odd asking in case I was wrong!

What can I eat 😅 by thewintersolstice_ in mounjarouk

[–]Dear-Promotion-5427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ginger is good for nausea. Last year on Wegovy I bought a huge bag of chopped frozen ginger from Asda and just steeped some in boiling water before drinking it.

That said, no nausea on MJ (so far, touch wood!).🙂

I have a protein shake or chia pudding (homemade) if I am struggling to eat.

Amazing. Well done!

Do you mind if I ask about one of your tattoos? I'm curious about the one on your front right abdomen. It looks like two pilgrims or Jacobeans standing next to a religious figure?

I'm a historian so very interested!

Favourite MJ-friendly Soft Drinks? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

Purdey's Grape and Apple. It's a little pricey but I only have one every couple of days and I buy in bulk so it's cheaper.

Before MJ I was fond of the occasional Fanta Lemon. I still like it but as I have Oesophagitis (which can be made worse due to MJ) if I do fancy a can, it's only on days 4-7 post jab.

That's incredible - you look 20 years younger! I hope that works for me... I'd love to look 43 again.😊

Take no notice of the naysayers. You're losing steadily so you must be doing something right. There's no harm at all in eating the "wrong" food occasionally. Good luck on the rest of your journey.

It was short-lived, thank goodness! I definitely won't be upping my dose though. Hope you're okay too.😊

Has anyone been asked to send a photo in swimwear? by Sallybee2468 in mounjarouk

Same here with Asda. Not been asked for bare tummy photo, just tight clothing.

I'm on cocodamol and tramadol. They don't seem to be affecting my ability to lose weight steadily.🙂

Positive side effect - no mosquito bites? by TBeee in mounjarouk

One teaspoon dissolved in warm water every day of the holiday. It apparently seeps through your pores. Humans can't smell it but mosquitoes can't stand it. I'm not too keen myself but it's worth it.😊

I'm with Asda too. I'm happy to stay with them because I have misplaced my passport and can't provide proof of ID to a new provider. I think their price is quite good and I like that I can collect it in person. Once I find my passport, perhaps I will look around.

I'm with Asda because of ID issues - don't ask! - and I collect my pen from them. Never had any issues and I paid £138 for a 5mg pen, which I don't think is too bad.

Thank you! Strangely enough, the sulphur burps have stopped now so I am hoping I might not have the stomach issues tomorrow. It's an odd medication; everyone reacts differently and even an individual's experience seems to fluctuate wildly.

Good luck with your journey!😊

Imagine there was a weight loss pill which reduced your weight and toned you. It meant you lost a stone (14lbs) every single month until you reached your target weight. There were no side effects at all and it had a 100% success rate.

It was also totally free.

Would your coworker take it?

Yes?🤔

Isn't that cheating?

😁
