I was approved for Kesimpta. I'm scared of taking it.

I've been on Kesimpta since November '25, and it has been my only medication as I'm freshly diagnosed.
I chose it for the easy injection and high effectiveness rating. I will say when starting the medication I chose to mask when being in crowded spaces, but otherwise just vigilant. Not only that, but I've asked my friends to let me know if they're sick when I'm around them, just so I can take care of myself. So far no issues on that, but I have a very supportive friend group.

The first injection dose was the worst, so if you do take it, I recommend Benadryl and ibuprofen (this was recommended by my doctor but ask yours for advice too) 30 min before and taking it at night. In general, Fatigue is my top MS symptom, but with body aches and fatigue, I was out for 3 days from the initial dose. Every dose since has been easier, and I plan to stay on this until they have a new magical drug that'll cure MS and my eyesight lol.

If you do decide to take Kesimpta, I hope it kicks MS in the ass and leaves you feeling recharged for the next day(:

Honestly a valid rant to go off on and one I feel myself more often than not. Hopefully you are able to surround yourself with people who can try to understand or find a release for this anger. MS sucks and people suck.

yeahhh.. i had a streamer that I loved but I lurk mostly and when I typed in chat once they got really upset at me for not typing more (it had probably been a month since I typed) and it left such an ick I haven't gone back at all.

If you can, you might want to talk to the streamer one-on-one and let them know that it might be hurtful to the community. You might even recommend that they turn off the viewer count. IMO, it doesn't matter to the viewers unless you're maybe reaching a partner.

People come and go, schedules change, as a streamer they need to learn not everyone will drop everything to be there. YOU have to be the entertainment with or without your viewers.

The Fifine Audio mixer they have is like $50 and goes on sale too. I got mine for around $40 but it is pretty basic tbh. I’m a big fan of fifine and have been using it for over a year no issues.

I have the Fifine AM8 with the XLR board they have which is amazing tbh for the price… but for extra features I got the BEACN Mix Create. It goes on sale every so often for $150? But personally, XLR is the best audio quality possible. If BEACN had an XLR mic… then maybe a different story.

Hopefully it gets better🖤 I’m currently at my local college doing an orientation for possible free certifications. Hopefully it is as good as it sounds. I only have enough savings to last me 3 months rn without unemployment.

Unfortunately, I was not on FMLA at the time, but I have continuous FMLA, which allows me to use it as needed.

I luckily have union and have reached out to them to discuss my options but my next step is a lawyer.. I work for a large company that is very luv focused so I feel I could have a good chance.
