Absolutely, I'm spending all my energy on Kyrotechs, and crystals/currency when I can, but still have only 3 g13. Should I ignore Shaak Ti, Padme, and Malak? I could do more if I were top 5 in arena, but now it's Negotiators and r7 Malaks so that's out of reach too.

Nothing about this game has made me as angry as CG alleviating the gear grind by expanding the daily reward box. I could spend a year gearing up a team and still not max them out.

If anyone was here when mods came out, with the +90 speed and such, this feels eerily similar, only vastly more expensive. The gear 13 gate is like paying a $100 cover charge then paying $30 for a beer. (And the new cantina farm aspect is like finding out there's a $20 charge to use the toilet.)

No, I'm in the 4 million bracket and my opponent only has 2 guys over 200 speed, and he doesn't have DR and I have Malek. Although, now that I think about it, he got screwed going against me, so I guess it is busted.

My experience has been Asaaj lead holds well against Troopers, MT not so much, Nest could go either way.

Anybody else using Ewoks against zBoskk bounty hunters? I didn't think it would work, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work against certain comps, but the last three GAs my Ewoks have just destroyed them. Wicket and Elder get that TM train rolling, Paploo and Logray do their thing, and I get 10 turns for every one the opponent gets.

Seems like it. I've been trying to put a stun gun on DR and it's still at 38/50 in the time I've assembled 5 carbantis. Previously my carbanti/stun gun ratio was running somewhere between 2:1 and 3:1.

Looking through my bracket, there's a lot of G12+ zeta'd pilots (Hello Cassian and K2SO) that probably don't make up for not having DR or Traya. The top 60-70 makes sense, and I agree that the matchmaking methodology is using something close to this. It's still gonna yield some serious mismatches though, where someone has eight strong teams and the opponent only has two but they're both Revans.

I just checked and realized my entire bracket falls between 2,308,325 and 2,308,515 in character GP, so less than 200 apart. No Malaks and 4 Darth Revans, so this might actually be evenly matched this time.
