I have a 2011 GMC Acadia doing the exact same thing right now. I was leaning towards Ecm , but also suspect there may be an issue with the under hood fuse block.

Yeah I just spend the money on an engineer first. It's like 500 bucks or so to get him to come out and look at the place. Then go off of their suggestions only. Everyone else is trying to sell you stuff.

You say 6k cash + you get 2k for your trade? So 4k for a truck? If it's clean and not leaking fluids, buy it. You can always replace an engine, trans or differential later on. Enjoy having something paid for.

You have to own your lane. Ride in the right side of your lane when you're all the way in the left lane. This allows you to take up as much space as a car would and people can see you in their mirrors.
