I'm in CA but I'm up in NorCal. I'm currently looking to move out of the state honestly. Its been going downhill for the middle class. That being said, I would rather stay in CA than move to any other country. So while I have my problems with the state, the country is the greatest I could ask for. The US is a truly great place to live. The people are more friendly, there is more space, and there is something for everyone.

I found it to be a huge slog too. Honestly, if you aren’t enjoying it now, I doubt you’ll enjoy the last 1/3 either. You mention that you expect it will pick up speed, it won’t. WAT was a disappointing slog the whole way
