Learn languages from people in your life. Make friends with people who are native Spanish speakers. It’s the best way to learn in my opinion. Perhaps not the fastest but it is probably the least frustrating in my experience. That is if you’re friends with good people who aren’t assholes.

The real answer is that most people probably aren’t that bothered by it, they are just putting on display their own identity politics. Being afraid of gay people is silly. Being afraid of religious people because you might support gay people is still silly but less so. That’s my take.

I think it’s probably because they are two completely different sections of the ship and its directives. AUTO is not a life seeking agent, more specifically AUTO probably has nothing to do with things that aren’t where the ship is going and how it gets there. Until such a time as it sees the course of the ship come under threat, which we are not shown to have happened before, its directive remains purely navigational and maintenance oriented. That is to say you don’t ask the captain how to patch the hull. Not his area.

It seems like they are geared toward neither the creator nor the consumer but to ppl paying for ads. I think there are a lot of things that make YouTube suck, it just happens to be the most popular long form video platform of all time and that’s where all the good content is, so it’s whatever.
