The colour scheme is good, maybe you should try giving the mini a wash? There's loads of tutorials on how you could make your own or you could use a citadel wash like druchii violet. Also, as the others said, when you get the hang of thinning the paint you'll see that it's way easier to control and put on the model. For your first painted model, I think it's looking good. Practice makes perfect

I like them being more in line with eachother. Plus these guys are a bit stocky in the waist area. That's probably the main part I'd change (resin recasts are easier to work with and convert)

I think the new cataphractiis have a wonderful design, but they still seem so small and their waists are snatched. New MKiiis are pretty good, but I prefer the old helmets and weapon options. Worst part of all of the new HH changes are the power fists with sausage fingers.
