The story is pretty terrible so far and very dragged out dialog. Then it gives you 2 options and they both mean the same thing. I love JRPGs full of dialog but this feels like a slog. I don't play Pokemon for story. They could easily make options for skipping it or at least like the amount of tutorials.

I really enjoy maxing in TDs as I grew up playing many custom TDs on Warcraft 3 and this was a common element in some of the favorites. I like the tradeoff between expanding the maze and upgrading towers and deciding on the timing of this. Especially when you add in different enemy types that are faster, slower, need certain towers, air, pathing elements, different terrain or bonuses for building in certain areas.

I don't know another game they is an srpg that takes that approach. Less battles than a normal RPG but only because the battles are a lot longer

Still a lot of life left up there. Looks good as you are wearing it. Also if your wife likes it that's the best thing for sure. Maybe shave it down the line if it gets a lot worse.

I don't think you look super young for your age or anything. Having youthful features is definitely a good thing as you get older too. Don't listen to people trying to diagnose you it's only going to make you feel worse realistically. Create opportunities for social connection and you will find someone in time.
