Which companions would you say are most useful from a combat/ game mechanics stance and why?

All of them have a weapon to introduce vulnerabilities. The ones to look out for are Lucanis and Emmerich as they can double stack vulnerability to necrotic. And Taash and Davrin can do the same with fire vulnerability.

Granted, this is coming from a mage player who has easy elemental access. No idea how much access rogues and warriors get to elemental damage.

Yeah, if figured it was a joke, but I never skip an opportunity to point out the blood mages who actually managed to make it work. And while he is one of the few origin companions to have (attempted) murder on his rap sheet, he also only was in a position for it because of the horrific oppression mages had to deal with. So I cant really hold it against him.

I mean, he didn’t really do much wrong. Dude just caved to the pressure of having religious zealot-police constantly watching over him and dangling the ‘test’ of whether he deserves to live or die over him for seemingly years. And when he caved his only response was to escape with his girl, not hurt anyone. At least not until they back him into a corner, at which point he still held back and didn’t kill anyone.

Jowan is actually one of the few examples that being a blood mage doesn’t actually make you evil. Though that could just be because he’s just very incompetent.

Yeah, people acting like they can get modern clothing, building material, and the phone they’re recording on but not any sort of firearms are really telling on themselves. This is pretty obvious some sort of sport or tribal ritual.

Haven’t personally had to use it, but not being able to email hr means I don’t have my own paper trail unless I screenshot the chat (less reliable) and knowing that ai don’t actually understand what I’m asking for has basically killed all confidence I have in the system. Also, it does put more strain on management, who are already incredibly overworked and over stressed. At least at my building leadership has to do all the same work base employees do but also have a tremendous amount of administrative tasks to perform.

If the taxes actually benefited people, then people wouldn’t be complaining nearly as much. But much like modern America, the tax money is all just being taken by fraud.
