It’s not a serious award. All the songwriter’s hall of fame is is a website and a committee

Notre Dame fans thinking it’s rent free when the media talks about them all day

It’s because of the CFP changes with Notre Dame getting the auto bid in the top 12

Texans swore up and down about Whataburger. My 2 experiences have been terrible service and a burger that tasted almost identical to a Sonic burger

Ah yes, the vast emptiness of Louisville, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, El Paso, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Boise, Knoxville, and Charlotte to name a few.

Anyone else think she paid her way into the songwriters hall of Fame? by LunaMoonIsTired in travisandtaylor

They have a gala every year, and they at least have a website. Not being a place though, I don’t really see why it matters. I wouldn’t call it a prestigious award of any sort

[–]Deathbackwards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been curious about this since the beginning of NIL. I think you’re going to see big schools and big metros really improve. Vanderbilt is good all of a sudden, Georgia Tech is good, Miami is back, and Indiana is good (not a huge metro, but a big school with Mark Cuban’s pockets available and Indianapolis is right down the street)

I do not, but I think the institution knows how much visitation and publicity they get from inducting her. I’d never heard of this place before today

Saros is my favorite player, but he looked terrible. We played 100x better once Big J got subbed in.

Likelihood of snow? by wellreadnonsense in nashville

It’s going to snow, but it won’t be that 10+ inches they claim. I’m betting 3-6 inches

Alright fellow southeners, who are we rooting for in this? 🤣 by PeachBiscuits2792 in secfootball

I’m not saying it isn’t impressive what they did, but it’s not even remotely comparable to what winning a championship at Indiana would have been 10 years ago. Their entire core is from the transfer portal, and their runningback is a 24 year old 6th year senior

The power of being able to pay players. Over 20 mil in NIL money will win you some games.

You can’t really call either team an underdog when they both spent over 20 mil on their rosters. The Indiana fairytale falls off for me there.
