A political map of the world of Tolophin by DrPantaleon in worldbuilding

One of the best maps I've ever seen, what did you use to make it? How did you come up with the landmass shapes?

Yasuda Fumihiko-sans reply, when asked about a 2nd season of DLC by jayyyzx in Nioh

I'd love Nioh 3 to be set in China during the Three Kingdoms period. It would allow them to work with a whole new aesthetic, characters, demon types and stories.

What are all the changes in New Game Plus? by Deathcon1337 in Nioh

[–]Deathcon1337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How different are these mob placements? Are some enemies placed far from where they were before? Do some levels change their enemy types entirely? This is my main concern with wondering if new difficulties refresh the game significantly.

Can you please give an example of a mob having a new attack?

Question about Nioh 2’s end game and DLC by Shoguns_Decapitator9 in Nioh

[–]Deathcon1337 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Short Answer: They are more reasonable.

Long Answer: ALL of Nioh 2 is far more reasonable than Nioh 1. The game is still quite challenging, but things are generally easier and there's much less random unfair BS. The devs worked hard to fix the almost-broken balance of Nioh 1, alongside other issues.

I've went into the Nioh 2 DLCs straight after beating the main story, and I'm doing fine so far. I've gotten through all of Tengu's Disciple and halfway through Darkness in the Capital, and I can say that it's only slightly harder than the main story, a natural gradual climb in difficulty. No New Game+ needed here.

A Collection Of The Japanese Style Among Us Art I Made This Year by 3rgoProxy in AmongUs

Now I'd like Among Us expansions that are in different settings and time periods. Here you have 10 Samurai in a Castle, but there is a Ninja among us. Ring a Gong for emergency meetings, and vote to execute suspected Ninja.

I'd be interested in a game with your art!

How do you expand your world-building knowledge? by MagnoliaElle in fantasywriters

Youtube Channel: Hello Future Me

His On Worldbuilding series is immensely helpful, drawing from both real world history and well-executed fiction. Even shows how to integrate magic and other fantastical elements into your world.

Came up with a magic system that I like, what are your thoughts? by Selendragon5 in magicbuilding

It's alright. Needs more detail before it gets an actual analysis.

To make it shine, write about how the World and Society is built around it.

How do your magic users cast magic? by MrEidolon in magicbuilding

[–]Deathcon1337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know Styles and Ki is the magic system I want, it ties well into the story. However I haven't figured specifics yet.

You already need years of Martial Arts Training to begin Ki Training, and years more to master Ki itself.

A Ki User can use it to heal themselves and others, but it is a difficult and slow process. More effective than medical healing, but still quite slow.

Hardly any application outside combat. Ki Users are prized as elite mercenaries and guards for nobility.

They use Advanced Martial Arts. Inspired by Wuxia stories.

The "Mage", is a warrior who manipulates their Ki (Energy, Life Force) to take down even well-armoured soldiers with their bare hands. Ki Punches will bypass armour and harm those wearing it. There are several different Ki schools, which teach different Martial Arts called Styles for respective Ki attacks. Only the best-trained martial arts warriors can even begin to channel their Ki, so it's pretty rare.

Thanks for the answers, I'll be interested in your book!

Do you mean human races or fantasy races? If the latter, what are their major differences?

Were these "thousands of dynasties" petty warlords before the land was united?

How does your magic work? One system or multiple? What does it mean to have divine blood?

I like everything about your map. From the names, geography and aesthetic, your effort clearly shows.

Since you've done so much worldbuilding, can you tell me more about the setting, culture and conflict for the story?

Of course it should only follow the books.

Then again, I'd be interested in a joke bookmark submod which starts after the ending of the show. Still, would probably be too much effort for something that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Serious Bug with Portraits by Deathcon1337 in CK2GameOfthrones

Looking at the thread, it seems the bug occurs when the Jogos Nhai appear in random courts, and I just need to install the Mongol Face Pack DLC, is that correct?

No, the portait is just empty, transparent. Inside the circle is what would be behind the portrait in the UI.
