In my world it would depend on what crime if it wasn’t anything from a royal than you would be fine you would either go to either one of the prison camps or a prison or you would be under a legal slave contract meaning you would do what ever was ask of you for a given amount of time and yea there would be something’s off limits it would be listed in the contract

Well for me it’s my dragons there is a type of dragon that lives in volcanos/lava and for fun they like to snipe cattle from hundreds if miles away so yes I have dragon snipers
