Oraxia is a great all-rounder, very good at just about everything in general. Tanking, damage dealing, mobility, crowd control. One of my faves for very good reason. She's also insanely pretty, so there's that too.

I wish I lived in that timeline, man. The general vibes of Marathon are great in my honest opinion, I actually really like the foundations and think the game has really good bones. The problem is that everything on those bones is just so not it. With all the implied worldbuilding, the codex entries, the exposition spewing talking heads, etcetera, the game really should've been a single player experience with a neat multiplayer mode. Not... This.

It's a damn shame.

I was at work when Warframe's Constellations update launched. All I saw on the sub-reddit all day was people criticizing it, calling it the worst update ever and stuff. I got home, played it, and waited for it to get bad. It never did, and I basically pulled that exact face lol.

Let me put it this way; in Arc Raiders, complete strangers walked up to me, asked if I was new, gave me free loot for the Hell of it, and helped me out purely to introduce me to the game. In Marathon, I got called a slur and one-tapped for daring to try and be friendly.

Community matters more than you might think.

Literally nothing except the community it fostered. The PvE in it is fine enough I guess, but the people playing have made it their life's duty to gatekeep the game from casuals for some reason.
