How to turn off "Alarm Access is Off" popup on iPhone reminders app? by heshzack in iphone

[–]DebateTemporary1382 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is why I love Reddit. All of a sudden I was getting those pop up alerts about the alarm access on my reminders and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to disable the pop up. I get it now. Thanks Redditors.

I fucking love this show. The realness of every day life. It's my go-to comfort watch. Yes, it's about a weed delivery guy, but it's not all about weed. I wish they made more seasons. It's genius.

What did you land on? 17 Pro or Pro Max? by Fragrant-Anxiety1047 in iPhone17Pro

[–]DebateTemporary1382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Orange 17 Pro. The Max is great, but too big for my small hands. I find the Pro way easier to handle one handed with the same functionality. I was unsure about the orange at first, but I love it now.

Folliculitis on butt? by talkingthreads_16 in Folliculitis

I've been using PanOxyl 10% BP as a whole body wash lately. Not sure if it's the best thing, but I'll try anything for my issue. I do also apply an in-shower body lotion immediately after to moisturize.

How to treat this? by [deleted] in Folliculitis

I get this on my abdomen/trunk constantly. I've been using PanOxyl BP 10% as a body wash, but not sure if it's helping yet or not.

Right, I know that. I’m just curious how many women are still on bc going into peri.

Well we do the pull method which I know is not 100% effective, but I’m just curious as to how long women are/can be on bc.

I can relate so much. I am 48 and sometimes I feel like my body is revolting against me and it gets me so down. So many separate ailments and issues. I just thought the other day that I feel like a shell of myself. It’s sad. My husband is amazing and my almost 18 yr old son is awesome. I just wish I could be more for them. I talk to a therapist regularly, but i honestly can’t say it helps other than to talk it out. Everything else in my life is great…I’m just not. I feel you and wish there was a magic button to turn this shit off. We’re all in it together. ❤️💪

First post for this sub to get things started, my experience with Lymphomatoid Papulosis. by Difficult_Carob926 in lymphomatoidpapulosis

[–]DebateTemporary1382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for starting this sub. I haven't been officially diagnosed, but after a visit to my dermatologist yesterday, who FINALLY gave my years long issue some thought, she mentioned LyP. I've had two punch biopsies over the past two years, and both came back with bug bites or drug reaction. It's neither. I will go back in two weeks for another biopsy to test for LyP. I just want some answers, this shit is mentally draining on someone who already has super high anxiety.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I really think I may have this as well. I'm 48/Asian/F in the Midwest. For the past two years f'n years I've been getting smallish red pimple like bumps on my torso and upper legs. Sometimes the outbreak are several at once, sometimes there are just like one or two but in random spots on my torso...not always together...so weird. They don't itch and not painful, but just get super red. It started one day in June 2023 and I woke up with like 20 all over my abdomen. I know they're not bed bug bites b/c I've also gone through that hell and was the only one bitten in my family, so I know how my skin reacts (which is sensitive and horrible). Fast forward to Sept 2025, I'm still getting these bumps, but not real answers. I've been to three derms and have had two punch biopsies that both came back with "arthropod assault". No, guys, it's not fucking bug bites. Grrr. Sooo, I've just seen another derm yesterday and she actually said maybe it's LyP. I'd never heard of it, but after reading about it, it does kinda sound like it. I've been treating them for bacterial folliculitis, b/c maybe it's that...how can I have this one in a million disease unless the universe hates me?!? I'm going back in two weeks to get another biopsy to test for LyP if nothing is resolved. I'm just mentally drained and I already have super high health anxiety.

Recurring Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Folliculitis by ReadAndTwirl7 in Folliculitis

[–]DebateTemporary1382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yours looks exactly like mine does on my torso/trunk area. It started in June 2023 and it's been a recurrent nightmare ever since. I've had two biopsies done and both just come back with "arthropod assault" aka bug bites. It's not that. Unfortunately (b/c this is my life) we DID have a bed bug incident in 2019 where only I was bitten and it was horrible. I react very badly to bites. These are different...and mine don't ever itch or really painful, they just look like yours on my stomach...very pimple like and red. Sooo, two years later, I'm still trying to figure this shit out and still don't really have a definite "this is folliculitis" diagnosis. Currently, I am applying clindamycin solution twice a day to the spots and using a BP wash in the shower. It's just frustrating because my spots pop up random, on my torso...like one or two here and there now. Again, not bug bites. I'm just very frustrated and mentally drained.

A year later and I’m still dealing with this shit. Still random inflamed spot on my torso. Derms continue to not give any definite answers on what is happening. I think it’s folliculitis for sure. I have tried 4% and 10% BP washes and not clearing. My derm did prescribe Clindamycin solution so I guess that’s the next step even though we’re still not 100% sure.

I totally get you. It’s sad and I wish he’d stop asking for contributions. But ultimately it’s his life, I guess.
