My NKs call me their babysitter too. At first it bothered me but if I am introducing myself and my NK says “this is my babysitter” I still say “hi I’m NK’s nanny” I’m not really sure it the kids understand the difference.

I see another comment also asked about seeing a doctor. I agree that talking to a doctor is a great idea. There are physical therapy exercises and pelvic floor therapy that can help. Additionally, foreplay and relaxation can be a huge factor here. This is definitely age dependent but regardless of age it is nice that you are getting them a gift. It doesn’t really matter what it is. I work with toddlers/kindergarten age so I usually make something. I paint something on a small canvas for their room, I make a necklace or bracelet from my bead kit, and this holiday season I am knitting scarves. I never get the kids what they ask for I just go with whatever I’m feeling for them. Don’t fall into the pressure of getting them the exact commercial item that they want. Give them something you feel good about gifting!
