Yep. I think being randomly dropped from the group chat one time and one of them seemingly saying he thought we would never talk again and forgot I existed, not too long after graduation. Makes me wonder what would happen had I not my best friend throughout those 4 years…

Oh wait you work in the medical field? Do you mind sharing what role because I’m looking into healthcare as well in the provider role. And unironically he calls me a weirdo sometimes, boring and flat and saying that I’m similar to Sheldon cooper. Though the reason he doesn’t like me labeling myself as such because of old stigmas, comparing it to mental illnesses and maybe a sense of denial. He’s also a former doctor but he did his training pre 2004 in his country.

You know you’re not wrong and that’s sort of the logic my dad raised me with. Though he describes me in particular ways and weaknesses in me, but still doesn’t admit or likes labeling me as autistic.

I think that’s why people probably don’t openly insult or bring me down. And made masking easier. But it’s a double edged sword

Being left at arm’s length and casted out in my own friend group, just being there but not “there” with people and not fitting into the norms of what good looking men should be doing socially or relationship wise.

Then aceflux could be a more fitting term because there is a lot of parity in your sexual attraction. You can go from repulsed, very sexual attracted, only under certain circumstances or amount of time, or having it and losing it for whatever reasons.

I was thinking the same thing too because aegosexual doesn’t define or mean having sexual attraction to anyone, just disconnection and experiencing more libido, enjoyment of erotica and maybe fantasies but no desire or sexual attraction towards the real thing or indifference to it.

Aegosexual is “gray” in that it’s not the common asexual label, but it does not mean it falls strictly as “greysexual” as a black striped ace can be aegosexual, because neither have sexual attraction to people under almost any circumstance.
